The supposed resale company Time Travel Marketing, address 17 Piries Place, Horsham, West Sussex, RH12 1BF, UK (which turns out to be a postbox), Telephone: 0872 426 0121, are clearly working from Costa del Sol – Spain and yet again not complying with any rules or regulations stipulated by law.
Their website www.timetravelmarketing.com does definitely not comply with the legalities established for websites, which is basically the obligation to have the company Identity registration visible on the website. But this is not too surprising when knowing that this supposed company is not registered at all at The Company Housing in UK or in Spain.
Cold calling the consumers, Time Travel Marketing’s representative kindly offers a resale service which quickly turns out to be a service that needs an upfront payment. These payments can go as far as £1295 or more…a lot of money for hot air..
Clearly they do not know the new Timeshare Directive which was implemented into national law by most European Union Member States on Wednesday 23rd February 2011. This new legislation replaces the current European Timeshare Directive, and goes one step further by including timeshare exchange, fractional, resale, and holiday clubs (i.e. long term holiday products). Taking a deposit for a resale service and not respect a 14 day “cooling off period” clearly goes against this EU Timeshare Directive and is also a very strong reason for consumers to claim back from their credit card companies any payments made in this way. Being it Time Travel Marketing or any other bogus resale company!
So, if you ever receive a phone call from Time Travel Marketing or any supposed company claiming to have a buyer for your property, just as long as you cover the closing or notary costs, don’t believe them. These s**** artists will take your money and run with it! By the time you realize your mistake, they will have moved on.
If you have been called by this company, please let us know! We can help you further.
Hi
I have been approached by Kudos Consultancy who say they will take my Diamond Resort points at no charge and so relinquish me from fees etc.
Has anyone had dealings with Kudos?
thanks
