A new dubious Legal Consultancy has appeared on the scenario and is cold calling timeshare consumers with very dubious offers.
Mattias Thomas Larrson Legal Consultancy, supposedly based in Calle Coin 176, 29640 Fuengirola, Malaga, Spain is contacting timeshare consumers who previously have also been contacted by Borderline Investments http://wp.me/p1kmoi-3s and (obviously) the sale fell through.
This is the “famous” guaranteed offer these companies claim they will get you once they have asked you for an upfront fee and the guaranteed buyer runs into “trouble of all kinds” and cannot buy the timeshare in the end…leaving the consumer with at least a £1000 less on his account.
MTL Legal Consultants claims to have yet another guaranteed buyer and money is already deposited in an escrow account. Only “tiny” detail missing is another upfront fee this time called a “legal transfer fee” and amounts up to approximately €3000!!!!
But of course in exchange the timeshare owner will receive a high sales price for his timeshare and (believe it or not) the €1200 paid to Borderline Investments refunded.
Yes….and elephants fly.
Obviously there are a lot of companies that turn out to be one and the same. They are doing their dodgy businesses pretending to be another company that is going to be the genuine one this time.
Borderline Investments Ltd has a company address in Kent, 20 Dover Street, Canterbury, CT1 1VT. This same address is used by True Valid (http://t.co/xIGkY45) on their self-addressed envelope for mailing of the documentation; 20 Dover Street, Canterbury, CT1 1UT, Kent.
If any of the above mentioned companies call you, best thing to do is HANG UP! And if you have already paid money to one of these companies and the next one starts to call you, do not pay any more money to them!
If you have been called by Mattias Thomas Larsson Legal Consultancy, Borderline Investment Ltd or True Valid, please let us know!
I’m afraid I have just been conned out of £1000 by Mattias Tomas Larson. The sale was all ready for transfer to me by tomorrow BUT first they want £3000 costs before the contract can be completed! Fortunately there is no way I can find that money, so they say that if I call it off now, I will lose my £1000 already paid! I would appreciate your help please. Is there any way I can get this money back? They are phoning tomorrow for my decision.
I just thought I would check them out before I attempted to try and find more money, thank goodness I did!! I await your reply, thanking you in anticipation, Yours P.Jenkins.
Dear Pauline,
Thanks for the message. I am sorry you have paid the £1000 and we are sending you information about the refund request.
Please do not pay these people any more money. The sale does not exist!

has anyone been contacted by a greenfield solicitors, based in spain saying they have a buyer for timeshare property, seems genuine, and are very keen to do business, they do not have a website but they say they are regulated by the solicitors regulation authority, but upon phoning the sra they have no record of them!
Dear Mark,
Thanks for checking with us.
Greenfield Solicitors is a name that has come up a couple of times now over the past days.
Did they tell you how they got your details?
They are asking for “fees” to be paid upfront, so this is a no no.
