The Ultimate Holiday Package, another Fly-buy company pretending to be RCI!

This alert goes out for a company who has been very active cold calling lately by the name of The Ultimate Holiday Package.

The Ultimate Holiday Packagehttp://www.theultimateholidaypackage.co.uk – is nothing more than one of the latest Fly-Buys used by the Spanish listed company, Easy Consulting SL, and well-known for also running the following Fly-Buys from Alicante:

The Gift Company
Bonus Week Breaks
Resorts Direct
Direct Resorts International
Extra Weeks
Extra Time Online

Please read Mindtimeshare latest post on this group of Fly-Buys – https://mindtimeshare.me/2012/01/09/resorts-direct-uk-or-direct-resorts-international-same-pitch-different-names/ .

The Reservations & Customer Services number of The Ultimate Holiday Package0871 711 3545 – is currently being used by the above mentioned Fly-Buys. Another number used by this Fly-Buy is 0800 198 8847

The Ultimate Holiday Package is following the same modus operandi used by other known Easy Consulting Fly-Buys – i.e. cold calling timeshare owners, and pretending often to be RCI itself, although in their websites claim not to have any  affiliation to RCI or II. Consumers are though promised accommodation of a RCI Gold Crown quality and throughout the entire conversation the consumer is given the impression that there is a link.

Once paid for the bonus weeks, the consumer receives the paperwork at home and realizes first that the accommodation is not specified and certainly NOT guaranteed to be in an RCI Gold-crown resort and the consumer has to sit through a 90 minute presentation at the resort or otherwise will be liable to pay the “full rental price”.

  1. Alison says:

I was contacted last night for these bonus weeks through RCI I was foolish to pay with my debit card £395 . However , I checked out the number 02035192155 and it shows a problem with this number . I contacted the bank no money has been taken , thank goodness and I have reported my card stolen so that any money taken by them can be traced .
They appear to be knowledgeable to club la costa and RCI . I am a member of club la costa , how are they getting your personal details .

    • Melanie says:

      Hi Alison
I too was contacted by this company a couple of days ago, with the same contact telephone number, but they were purporting to be from Interval International rather than RCI. Again, very convincing sales pitch which, despite several close calls over the years, my husband were nearly taken in by! Serious action needs to be taken against the company asap.

  2. Philip says:

Have you come across these people yet.?
I have a feeling they may be new on the scene and related to previous organistions in the resale timeshare game.

    Has anyone else been contacted?

I have also been scammed by them – promise of holidays in south Africa that no longer are available, trips to Madeira not available. I want my money back – has anyone managed to get it refunded? I realise this is a massive rip off and they totally misrepresent their offering. Don’t the office of fair trading want to do something?

  4. margaret says:

    • Joyce says:

I was also ******* by Extra time on line, which are connected to The ultimate holiday package these people are nasty if you do not pay them more money. I did get some of my money back, from my credit card company. They are still ringing me asking for more money, after I told them never to ring me again. I contacted the “Fraud Squad” who knew of Extra time on line. They gave me a crime no. I have been receiving calls from them daily, when I answer the phone they just hang up or laugh before hanging up.I am 73yrs old & my husband is 84, this has caused us a lots of stress.I have now had to contact my telephone company to ask them to block their no.from my phone. THESE PEOPLE ARE BULLIES & SHOULD BE STOPPED……..

  5. Ian says:

I also timeshare owner wanting to sell. Paid nearly 400 by credit card. Is it re-claimable?

  6. Ian says:

I was approached in February 2012 and then again today . Fortunately I did some immediate checking on this organization, who purported to be RCI and cancelled my CC payment in time.!!

  7. Gail says:

Yet again this company telephone me. (Must be in excess of 50 times now!) This time ‘David’ reported to be from RCI/Interval and, because he had a huge amount of accommodation could offer me a good deal for holidays to be taken any time within the next 5 years. Too good to be true. I thought so and hung up.

  8. susan says:

i have been called in excess of 20 times for 2 weeks anywhere in agold crown resort over the ne xt 3 years and a cruise and stay in orlando for 6 people ….all for £440 i dont think so !!!!

  9. Brian says:

I have just been conned, at 76 I didn’t think it would be me. The chap said he was Fairways my old Timeshare Company, I would get 5 star accommodation in the UK. It cost me £425 on my credit card. I have just read the comments and am ashamed this has happened to me. Brian

  10. julie says:

Is this all as scam? I have had phone calls everynight now this week and the package is getting bigger?

  11. Joy says:

I was cold call by Ultimate holiday package & they also offered me 5 weeks holidays ” city breaks & £200 flight vouchers for £434 . When I said I’d have to speak to my husband before I said yes they reduced it by £100 which made me suspicious. They rang me back the next day for my decision I asked them to reconfirm which company they wa as they did mention rci .diamond & marriot. When I said I would have to investigate them first as I’ve been scammed in the past ,they replied that they were fully registered & paying by credit card I’d be insured. This again put me on alert so declined the offer & glad I did.

  12. len says:

i have bough holiday from bonus week breaks, the gift company and extra time on line.i also bough into a traval company,UK connected.which they said add gone busts they must see me coming, the money i have spent.I did go on holiday with bonus weeks last year, but not the place i wanted is there a chance of me getting any money back or is it too late now I have tied to get money back from the credi company, but i did not get any where, Can you help

    • Gail says:

I too was conned by Bonus Week Break, Easy consulting or what ever name they are now calling themselves. They cold called me saying they were from Diamond Resorts and “because I had been a loyal customer they could offer me three bonus weeks at a reduced price”. They were lying – but I found this out too late. Diamond Resorts denied any knowledge or association with BWB. I learned the hard way NOT to listen to anything being offered on a cold call.

  13. Suzanne says:

I was rung yesterday and paid them £30 deposit to upgrade they said they were to do with gift comp who we have holidayed with before . They new my membership number but after now reading all these I will cancel there next payment as thet are a fraud company it seems .!!!!!

  14. Kath says:

I have been called yesterday and today by Ultimate Holidays Package. A very hard sell but was able to do some checking and it all didn’t feel right – although she made it sound very attractive. Was told that they would only accept Visa and MC for payment as these are ‘data based protected’. There was always a little more that I hadn’t originally been told. My husband always says to just put the phone down. I’m glad I got myself out of this one before it was too late.

  15. Christine says:

I have been called by 0800 198 8847 however I did not answer as I do not answer numbers I don’t know. After reading the above comments I am glad that I didn’t answer.

  16. margaret says:

margaret here i have too bought from the gift company and upgraded with the ultimate package and also joined in on the extratime on line i did recieve the docs and euro break and 1 cruise and should have had 4 incentive flight vouchers, i rand the lovley lady elaine as i was not sure about the documents she did explain in full details and said i could do better if i joined the extratime on line so i did i am a time share owner and yes the did know most of my details as the are part of rci????? but the cruise and euro holidays forms had not been dated , sorry she said i will send you out some more 2 cruise i euro £600 of flight discounts and i extra week at brookdale hall in the lakes yes you can guess they have not arrived and she will not anser the phone or her emails and i paid by credit card all told a fees of e454.86 to the gift company and then e647.83 to the ulitmate and then e669.78 to extra time on line, it says the cruise is a one of payment of $75 and then you pay the flights and we will give you a week accomadation in mexico or orlando free with a car hire free, i must have been the biggest fool goinig and would like to claim my money back give me some help if you can. thanks mags

  17. George says:

I received a call from The Ultimate Holiday Package and paid their requested fee for 4 weeks of accommodation plus 2 Euro City Breaks Vouchers plus 2 Wonders of the World Vouchers on the understanding that they were an affiliate of RCI, of which I am a member. I now find they are nothing to do with RCI and do not produce any kind of brochure giving the accommodation available.I have been told by their office that everything they offer is on their Website but this is nothing like I expected to see, namely top class resorts all over the world. Is this a SCAM and have I been a sucker?

    • Hi George,
      Thanks for your comment.
Indeed and unfortunately these people have nothing to do with RCI and that is what most people only find out after paying them money for a holiday which they were told would even be “RCI Goldcrown”
We will be emailing you more information on how to recover the money paid.
Did you pay by credit card?
      Kind regards

  18. Martin says:

All those connected with Easy Consulting are a pain in the posterior. Some years back I bought a The Gift Company ‘package’ and have used some of the weeks. The required presentations attendance become monotonously predictable, which I’m sure they’ve had negative feed-back about. So, for another payment one could up-grade so there is no further need to attend a presentation. I’m also of the opinion that they will very happily confirm a booking of the place you’ve chosen to visit, only to be ‘bumped’ very close to the departure day to another location because, I think, the chosen one was never available in the first place. And if you cancel, that’s a week lost.

  19. Gail says:

I received a phone call from them last night and they reported to be calling from “Head Office, Diamond Resorts International”. They were over friendly which immediately aroused my suspicions so I asked them again who they were and they then said they were from “Resorts Direct, Head Office, DRI”. What was more alarming was that when I questioned them further they even knew my DRI Membership number. They were talking about my Management Fees and a Loyalty bonus. I then became very suspicious and so hung up.

    • Hi Gail,
Thanks for your quick reply to our newest blog.
Head office of Diamond Resorts? Wow…they have changed their pitch then…and still a lie!
      Glad you didn’t trust them
      Kind regards
