Cold Caller Zandar Enterprises Ltd, have they cold called you as well?

Zandar Enterprises Ltd has started their cold calling this week. They seem to have all kinds of information on the timeshare consumer and invite them by phone to meet with a consultant who can help out with a claim against the timeshare company of the owner.

Zandar Enterprises Ltd with phone number 0207 183 6897 will even go as far as telling the consumer that they guarantee he will receive the maximum amount of monies that he lost through the purchase of his holiday membership and trading in his timeshare.

That is really good of them!

Unfortunately Zandar Enterprises Ltd has no website, and neither are they registered at the UK Companies House.

For those interested in speaking to the consultant there is one more details though they have to go through, the consultancy fee! Oh yes, £297 to register for this meeting where the consultant is going to guarantee the timeshare consumer he is going to get a successful claim..

The email from Zandar Enterprises states:

“This fee is payable via either Visa or Master card and we are able to accept other alternative payment method such as bank transfer, cash or cheque. Once this fee has been paid all funds are securely held awaiting your meeting”

I bet they keep it safe and secure…

We admit there is not much information, but seen the fact they haven’t got a website, they are not registered at the Companies House, they cold call and their meetings are held in places to be confirmed once you pay the fee. Well we thought it was a good idea to make the readers of the blog aware.

Have you been called by Zandar Enterprises Ltd from telephone 02071836897 ?

Please let us know!

More conmen I guess ZE consultancy
Just had a Telephone conversation with Stephen Hindmarch 0207 1836897.
    Re a timeshare scam
I was also scammed by Leisure Marketing in Tenerife about 7 years ago and promised money
Never give money up front, I found to my cost.
ZE consultancy had all the details and do use them to get your trust
But I asked about money up front he said needed a fee of £270.00 but would except a cheque.
When consultant turned up to see me
Same as other letters on your you have been sent.
I asked up front if it was a scam, he said no, no we would not do that to you.(Right!!)
I went right to my computer and found your comments, what a great help it is
Can nothing be done about these con artists?

  3. Dave says:

I just had exactly the same call. Up front consultancy fee. The company did not receive any of my money this had already been paid by a 3rd party. I explained that I would research this and for him to drop me an email which he has agreed to do. I am looking forward to telling them where to shove it. Will these people never learn?

  4. julie says:

i’ve just had a call from a mr bradshaw saying my reclaim certificate was invalid, but if i meet a consultant and pay £289 they would make sure i got my money back, YEAH WHATEVER!!!!!!

    • pete says:

Guess what, we were cold called by Peter Clark of ZE Consultants Ltd, same address and phone number as before, they had all the details of our meeting with Leisure Marketing in Tenerife, how do they get this ? i have arranged a meeting with a so called consultant in 10 days time, refused to pay or give card details for services i have not recieved, lets see if they turn up.

    • a says:

We also had a call from this Mr Bradshaw follwed by a visit from a consultant. So far no money has changed hands and I am awaiting a call back from them. Would love to be able to take this type of scam further in order to protect vulnerable people but dont know how to proceed.

  5. Elizabeth says:

Just spoke with a older couple who have been victims of Incentive Leisure Group to the tune of £37,850. Followed by fees of £1500 to Zandar Enterprises .Shame they can’t use the web. What you can learn from others. !!!!!!!!

    • James says:

I was also contacted by Zander Enterprises yesterday with the same blog that I previously encountered, which I told them to sling their hook! Mindtimeshare are already aware of these crooks. Tell them to go to hell!

    • Hi Elizabeth,
If they bought no longer than 6 years ago and paid by credit card, they may have a chance to claim a refund for the money paid to ILG.
      How did they pay Zandar?
We could help with guidelines on how to claim, but we would need an email address to write to.
      Kind regards
      Customer Care

Had cold call today from Stephen Hindmarsh, gave him a cross examination then agreed to meet agent (Matthew) on the basis that I could kick him out & not pay. Wondering what to do know Cancel or just let him come for some fun

  7. Tom says:

    Tom says:
I had a cold call from Zandar Enterprises that a lady called Nicola would call on me and when she came, she explained what I had to do then asked for £1,200 in two cheques, but I decided to look up Zandar, saw all these comments and decided to cancel the cheques. If anybody would like to get their money back, get in contact with Consumer Act 75, hopefully they will help you if you’ve paid by credit card.

  8. Lorna says:

I was cold called by Stephen Hindmarsh. He said they can get the money back for me from Incentive leisure Group and Designer Way Vacation Club and the money from my Reclaim Certificate. He could arrange for a Consultant to call and see me. The fee I would have to pay her would be £298.00, there would be no other charge. I agreed to see this lady named Nicola. After speaking to this lady and listening to her detailing all she could get back she then told me her fee was £298.00 but I would also have to pay a further £1250.00 for the work involved. I told her I would not pay it. She then said she would leave taking the money for her fee for the time being but I had to pay the £1250.00. I said I did not have it but I would give her £1000.00 on my credit card, this she could not accept because she did not have the machine for credit card payments so I had to give her a cheque, the balance would have to be paid at a later date.
On thinking about this transaction I decided I did not want to go through with the deal and rang her two days later and asked for my cheque to be returned as, under the law I would have a 7days cooling off period and was allowed to cancel the deal. She said she would speak to her boss and after ringing her three times she has still not agreed to return my cheque but says I must write a letter asking for it to be returned.
When she left I rang Mr Hindmarch and reminded him that he said I would only have to pay the consultant’s fee so why did I have the additional amount to pay? He said he did not know why and when I told him the amount was £1250.00 his comment was “that sounds a bit high”.
This was the 4th scam I have been involved with since I sold my 2 weeks timeshare to Incentive Leisure Group.
When is this going to be stopped?

  9. Roger says:

I just had a call from a Richard Senson who went out of his way to tell me how genuine he was – name, address (145 St John St) phone number (0207 183 6897). He was quoting me 58% pf my money back and all it was going to cost me was £289. I told him I would gladly pay TWICE that amount but only AFTER getting my 58% – guess what? .. it doesn’t work that way. It was very reassuring to find this site and knowing others had been offered a similar deal.

  10. Haz says:

We have just been called by someone called Nicola Adams on behald of a company called ZE consultancy. The telephone number is 02071836897 – low and behold the same as Zandar Enterprises. She told us that there wouls be a one off fee of £289 and for that they would get us 62% of the moneies paid into the reclaim scheme. She sounded very plausable and even said that the reason that they have no web site is beacuase one of these unscrupulous companies stole their details and defrauded one family out of a lot of money!

Like John (above) they told us that they would send a consultant out to our home, making it a risk free way of passing on documentation.

You know, I have come to the conclusion that if it sounds too good to be true then it is. It is a shame that there are so may wicked people out there ready to steal from others. It is sad if (like us) you have been conned out of money in the persuit of providing our families with an annual holiday. Sadly though I think all we can do is put it down to experience and move on safe in the knowledge that by not engaging with these people that they will not get their hands on any more of our hard earned cash.

  11. Cynthia says:

We have just been cold called by Stephen Hindmarsh on behalf of Z.E. Consultancy with the same address and phone number as previously shown on your blogs.   Yes he sounded convincing but as usual he wanted £298 for the completion of the paperwork.   While he was talking to my husband I was able to accesss this site and realise that we could have been another victim.   This is the second cold call in a week and the previous firm was Consumer Advise Service with more or less the same information.Where do these people get their information and what can be done about it – I would really like to know.

  12. Ernie says:

This chap is very busy! He sounds convincing, and didn’t pressurise me, but will call back again in 3. Days time. Anyone got anymore info?

  13. brian says:

cold called today by ze group.on checking this blog, same spiel same fee of 289 for visit, same address and telephone as zel consultancy, zes enterprises, and zander enterprises.be warned

  14. John P says:

It was a Peter Clark of ZE Consultancy Ltd who rang me. He was v.convincing (aren’t they all?) but we’ve had so many I don’t trust any of them! Strung him along for a bit. His main line was that Incentive Leisure Group had given us the wrong date so we wouldn’t get anything unless we used him. [In fact the date was from Reclaim not ILG] I didn’t buy any of it, especially when it transpired there was a fee involved (£295 – isn’t there always?). When I finally said I would read carefully through the T&C (implying I didn’t think I need his services) he retorted “You’re the rudest man I ever spoke to. Don’t have a nice day.” and slammed the phone down! That clinched it for me as no professional would ever talk or behave like that. [For the record I hadn't even been rude to him, merely declined to agree to a consultancy!]

  15. Alan says:

Yep I got a call tonight from Z.E.London Ltd ,a certain Rebecca Taylor phoned with the usual patter. I phoned back and asked not to persue this any further , she then returned the call to re-assure me that it was all legal and above board. The consultants fee I was quoted was 289.00 pounds to be paid on completion of the consultants visit. Why do these people persist in trying to con people of their hard earned cash can they not find a propper job. There must be some legal way to stop them taking our money as they ar so convincing. They need to be stoped as soon as possible , some other people I know are also having problems.CAN SOMEBODY HELP.

  16. James says:

Last Friday, 31 August we received a cold call from a Peter Sharp of Ze Consultancy Ltd (tel.No. 0207 183 6897)- Address: 145-157 St. Johns Street, Clerkenwell, London EC1 4PW, who was very convincing in conversation about recovering our Reclaim certificate money. He had all the details and said he would arrange for a consultant to visit our home to complete the paperwork required! The cost £297.00!!!!!!! Can nothing be done about these crooks??? Luckily my wife, who answered the phone stated that she would have to refer the matter to me, and he said he would phone back on MONDAY 3 September after she had spoken to me. Thankfully, I checked with Mindshare and lo! there they were. On Monday he phoned back 6 times ,but with “caller display” we did not answer. His last call was at 9.00pm

  17. Michael says:

Had a call today from Zandar giving my reclaim cert number (where do they get this info?) and asking for my credit or debit card number so I could pay £200(approx) for their consultant to visit and take my Diamond resorts points off my hands. Sounds too good to be true so it most likely is.

  18. Sheelagh says:

I had a phone call today. I answered the phone because the number displayed on my phone was 020 7183 6897.It was a Paul Jackson,he knew all about Incentive Leisure and our reclaim certificate. I told him he was just another scam artist but he persisted. He said our reclaim certificate was not valid because it was wrongly issued ,he even quoted the number, said they could send a consultant to our home address or meet wherever ,we could choose. When I still wasn’t convinced he went for ‘ the kill ‘saying that the reclaim consultancy advise had to be registered by August. I’m afraid I laughed and put the phone down. I had already asked him to tell me how much payment he wanted for this wonderful service!
He rang back immediately (I have caler display which is invaluable when you are cold called especially by scam artists) and I let it go to answer machine, He asked me to please pick up the phone as he had not finished telling the details, yes there was a fee of £289 and he may try and speak me again. After I told my husband I dialled 1471 and this Paul Jackson answered the phone – just said ‘Good Afternoon’ – no name or company name and I put the phone down without speaking. It’s now about 90 minutes later about 3.30 p.m.and my husband tried to ring the number. It went to answer machine – the voice was the same man, Paul Jackson saying the company was Z E Limited and to leave a message. If you check the list of cold callers they are listed as being active in July 2012 .What gave it away – the urgency that I must take up this opportunity now.
This is the 2nd call about our reclaim certificate – we don’t own a timeshare any longer so the only possibility is to scare monger about the recalim authenticity.the 1st scam artist said there would not be any money left in the pot if we wait and when I said I would take my chance he said ‘Well more fool you – your loss! Today he said our reclaim certificate was invalid because it was not registered correctly on issue. We don’t care if there is no money left in the pot – we had some good times and our money’s worth with our timeshare but I do wish the telephone preference service could do something about these people to make it illegal. We have also been scammed by True Valid and approached from Spain by Ramirez and Ramirez who are solicitors saying they are acting on behalf of the Spanish Government – yeah right as if they would care about foreigners time share money. There is a big list of these people – check it before you do anything but the golden rule is — if the offer seems to good to be true — then it probably is!!

  19. Ron & Ivy says:

We had a cold caller on Tuesday June 26 and and a consultant came on 28 June 2012 and said please trust me we are a honest firm, they are going to get your mmoney back from Reclaim, All he wanted was a cheque for £1,077.56 and said he would ring back to tell us when to send for the
    Reclaim

    • Colin says:

Be very wary. Each time someone gets a call from them, Zander, the price goes up! I would cut my losses and ignore them all.

  20. Jamie says:

I had a cold call yesterday from Anthony Derbyshire I have to pay £190.00 and they gaurantee to return 54% of the reclaim value. Given their address as 145-157 St John Street, London EC1V 4PW, Company Registration number 8005330. Meeting with the consultant tomorrow, but suspect another sc** !!

  21. Colin says:

Just called by Anthony Derbyshire form Zandar this morning. They had all my details and promised to get 60% of my money back. I just have to pay 190.00 by cheque as payment for the meeting by their consultant, and for the paperwork

  22. Paul says:

I too have had a call from Steven Johnstone of Z E Consultants (Zander Ltd) who had all my details (contract No with ILG etc.) from “the bank” and stated that i needed to re-register my reclaim certificate as at the moment its registered in ILG’s name and as they no longer exsisted any money paid out would go to spainish charities. I needed to speak to one of their consultants but he needed my credit card details to cover their traveling expenses etc (but the fee wouldn’t be taken untill all the paperwork had been completed) he was very convincing. but once bitten twice shy!!.

  23. Ivor says:

Had a call this afternoon – all about the relaim certificate of ILG. How they worked for the European government ???? and would retrieve 63% of the full value of the reclaim certificate. However they would require my credit card details (just for their security) before arranging an appointment to take the reclaim cert off me. No payment would be required up front. When the money comes through they would then take their payment of £289. What a load of cobblers!!!!

  24. Amanda says:

Hello, we have had a call tonight but we got quoted £185.00?? I also am assuming that this is again another hoax. As if we haven’t been ripped off enough. Any more info or advice would be great. Thanks Amanda

  25. john says:

We got a cold call last week by this company (Zandar Ltd) promising a 75% payout from our reclaim certificate, they knew all our details and assured us they were acting on behalf of the government to help all those who were ripped off by incentive leisure. They even said a consultant would come to visit us from London and the £270 fee was to cover their expenses and were very convincing. I presume from your comments this company is yet another bunch of conmen??
