After placing the blog alert this morning about the company called Timeshare Ups http://wp.me/p1kmoi-p9 we can now confirm that the company behind all this is ITRA (International Timeshare Refund Action)
It is becoming a more and more common practice lately that companies who are named and shamed all over the place opt for a name change and pretend to start all over with a clean sheet.
But as things are not always that easy, the truth always comes to light and the same has happened with Timeshare Ups and ITRA.
After speaking to the consumers on the phone, Timeshare Ups send out an email confirming the conversation and attaches a form to be filled out in order to assess the situation of the consumer. To access the form the consumer is directed to www.itra.net/rw
The email then states:
“The average claim is likely to be in the region of £1,000 to £20,000. Depending on the type of claim you may be entitled to recover compensation up to 100% of the original purchase price, and where you qualify for more than one claim the damages could be much higher.
We will get back to you on the same day we receive your claim letting you know how much you may be entitled to”
Yes well, we know the kind of claims ITRA does for consumers…after they have sold them a Club Class Membership that is!
