TD Recovery, cold caller at the right time and the right place..

A warning goes out for a company called TD Recovery who seems to be calling on just the right moment.

Timeshare consumers are cold called by TD Recovery or T.D.R when they are actually already dealing with dubious timeshare Resales such as Holiday Rentals Direct (http://mindtimeshare.me/?s=holiday+rentals+direct)

A nice lady called Megan Phillips from TD Recovery seems to be aware of the dealings of the timeshare consumer with other companies and she states that she could get up to 80% of what HDR were going to get the timeshare owner plus his deposit of 1400 euros by pursuing it through the Spanish courts.

Megan Phillips from TD Recovery her timing is spectacular as she calls the same day after the timeshare consumer has been told the sale has fallen through and he has realized he lost his deposit.

All the timeshare consumer has to do is to sign a letter TD Recovery sends through by email and a payment of €388 for court fees to submit paperwork which would be refunded even if claim failed (which begs the question why they need it).

This payment should be done by Western Union.

TD Recovery has a website, www.tdrecovery.com which was registered in November 2011 and not in 2008 as they try to make consumers believe!

The address of this company is in a mountain village on the Costa del Sol, MEE 2, Avenida Constitution 11, 29120 Alhaurin el Grande, Malaga, Spain.

Contact details, Mobile +34 602 448 458 or +34 603 375 696 and fax 0872 110 7401

Email info@tdrecovery.com

TD RecoveryTDR presents themselves as follows on their website: “TD Recovery Solicitors is a bilingual Spanish-English Legal Firm, which is specialized in full-service legal advice to foreign non-resident and resident people in Spain.”

Surprisingly the website is only available in English, the links to terms and conditions and privacy policy do not work. Neither is there a company registration number or at least the names and registration details of their solicitors.

Do we need to say more?

Have you been called by Megan Phillips or one of her colleagues from TD Recovery ?

I am having dealings with T.D Recovery at this time, and would like to know if they are real, because they have asked me to part with some money to recover some money for me, is it worthwhile to go ahead with this transaction

TD Recovery-called me months ago and made out that they are “investigating” the holiday clubs with a view to getting the money back for everyone.
Had a follow up call-asking how much was paid for membership and was I offered cashback scheme.
Another call then informed me that under 1994 euro timeshare directive I was entitled to my money back plus what I was promised through the cashback.I was going to receive £9000.00 and TD would get 10 per cent-after I had received the money.Hooray!
I would get money in 60 days.But-TD required e397.81 by bank transfer.I told them to take it out of my repayment, unfortunately they were not allowed!
I asked for the name of the lawyers who were going to court to deal with this and was told that it could be any one from 12,appointed on the day.
I declined their offer and they asked why I was not proceeding(for their feedback to the solicitors, apparently) so I told them that I was aware of their reputation and then they said that it was malicious posting by competitors.
They do sound plausible until you start to pick through their m.o. and the dead giveaway is the “upfront” payment.
Should be a definite non-starter everytime.
    I await the next offer.

    Excalibar.
Mr. Lee Ward Telephone No 0871 2311241
Second cold call within two months stating that they have clients who wish to buy my my Holiday Club Card.
They stated that the new people are willing to pay £9400 for the Club Card but, before all the details can be compleated I must put up e1395 they then proceded to ask me for my credit card details. Of course I did not play their game.
