Not all emails we receive daily are “bad news” about old and new dubious companies.
We also receive very nice and motivating ones, such as the emails that confirm to us a refund has been obtained by the consumer.
This is the case we had today where a consumer has confirmed to us she got £2400 back from a payment to Club Class after claiming this through her bank.
It wasn’t very long ago she asked us for help. Mr. and Mrs. had travelled to Spain on a “promotional” holiday from Premiere Travel and were taken to a presentation in Fuengirola.
After hours of pitching and convincing that another Club Class Membership would be the ideal holiday package for them they ended up paying £2400 in deposit and a rest payment by loan.
When they got home and started to investigate on the web and saw all the bad comments about Club Class they quickly decided to cancel the agreement.
In the contract there was no mention of a cooling off period as stipulated by law.
A cancellation letter was sent to Club Class by recorded delivery and the bank was informed.
The bank did ask Club Class for their version, but amazingly they did NOT reply to the bank in the timeframe of 45 days they were given to proof their point. Maybe because they don’t have a leg to stand on?
The bank returned the money to the consumer without hesitation.
For those consumers out there who have gone through a similar experience with Club Class and paid a deposit or even the balance as well, please note there is a good possibility to claim the money back!
If you need any help or advice on how to start claiming, please let us know as we will be pleased to give you all the information you need.

We have a similar story; We encountered Club Class in Fuengirola at the end of January and succumbed to their persuasion to pay a deposit to join their holiday club. When we got home we realised this was a scam and there would be no way we would get back the promised amount from their cashback scheme. We told Joanne when she rang from Gibraltar that we wanted to cancel and she said this was not possible as there was no cooling off period.
We did not pay any more money but another phone call from them tried to persuade us to take 2 holidays using the amount we had already paid; this we refused. We wrote to them but heard no more and so we got in touch with our credit card company as you suggested. The disputed amount was eventually returned to our account with the proviso that Club Class had 45 days to challenge this move. That time is now up and we have heard nothing from Club Class. We have just checked with the credit card company and our money is now safely ours!
Thank you for all your help on the blog and in your emails to me. I hope other victims have the same sort of success against this company.
