Timeshare Disposal through Inspired Legal Services

A new Timeshare Disposal company has been brought to our attention under the name of Inspired Legal Services.

Inspired Legal Services contacts timeshare consumers on a cold call and offers them help with disposing of their timeshare.

As they mention in their follow up documentation: “Inspired Legal Services provide a legitimate and legal exit plan for timeshare owners who wish to be released from the burden of their maintenance fees, so from the moment you relinquish your documents, WE GUARANTEE THAT THERE WILL BE NO FURTHER MAINTENANCE FEES TO PAY.”

So what is this plan?

As Inspired Legal Services or ILS explains, that they will transfer the timeshare into their (company) name, and in that way relief the timeshare owner of all his obligations towards the timeshare.

For this service they request a one off payment of around £1000 upfront.

But who is Inspired Legal Services?

Their address is 79 Warwickstreet, CV32 4RR Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, UK

Contact Telephone 0845 5577 531 and email info@inspiredlegalservices.com

Their website www.inspiredlegalservices.com was registered the 6th of June 2012, which is very recent and maybe also the reason why it is still not working.

We have not found any company registered in the UK Companies House under the name Inspired Legal Services.

Timeshare Disposal is a very actual issue at the moment, and obviously a service that many timeshare owners welcome.

The worrying factor in this case though is that we have a company that cold calls, so they have access to personal data, they don’t seem to be registered at the UK Companies House, their website is recent and currently not active (so we cannot say if there are any identifications on the web at least) and they require an upfront payment.

Where would one go in case the timeshare is not transferred out of his name and the payment of close to £1000 has been done? Who guarantees this service?

Where would you claim in case your resort or holiday club does not allow transfers into company names? Because on the paperwork from Inspired Legal Services there is no mention of any clause where this issue is covered…

Before taking up the service of a Timeshare Disposal Company do think twice and make sure you are protected in case this service doesn’t work out.

Pay them £1219 and then……. you will never hear from them again, until they change their name and say they will get you your money back from their previous companies.

    • Michael says:

It seems like I’ve NOT lost my £2330 to ‘Unleashed Marketing Ltd’ & / or ‘Unleashed Deed Service’ because Barclaycard / Goldfish have recredited my a/c with that amount. I think I helped my case by insisting that BOTH company names appeared on my contract. I also persisted in asking B’card what enquiries they made of those companies before they allowed them to use the B’card facility; a question they never answered.
      Hope this helps someone.

  2. Barbara says:

I was cold called by Oceans Estates, who said they had buyers for my Incentive Leisure holiday apartment. They were offering me £4000, which was an attractive offer. However they asked for £1219 for insurance. They promise to send a cheque, then when it has cleared, an agent will call to pick up the papers and cancel the insurance. In the contract information, the £1219 is referred to as a “deposit”, and insurance is not mentioned. The company dealing with the credit card money is Inspired Legal Services. Any comments or advice?

    • Michael says:

First, dont be tempted. Second, if anyone is tempted (?????) make sure BOTH company names appear on the contract. Third, see rule one.

Hi Roy again, seems a lady called Mrs Brown is now calling from a company called ION, but funnily enough her phone number is the 08455577531 ie the same number as inspired legal services. How do we get these people? and are they actually con people, ie has anybody used them and had a result?

  4. mike says:

your information isnt being passed around, its the same scam company with different names, if you have been scammed in the past they keep your documents and try it again and again on you knowing you are desperatly trying to get rid of your timeshare.

I too have been approached by Inspired Legal Services. I have had several cold calls from companies about my Diamond points in the last 2-3 weeks and I am now intriged by them. I was contacted by Equitas Property Ventures, a lady called Wendy, offering to get me and my husband out of our points if we buy into a fractional freehold scheme. As usual, when i get these type of calls, i ask for information which they sent. All looked ok but we could ill afford the £4,500 they were asking for so we refused the offer. I got another call from Equitas Property Ventures saying they could help us out if we paid the exit fee of £1200. Again they sent me the paper work and we said we would look into it then get back to them. My husband had a call from a lady at Maintenence Release in Manchester offering the same for £1,550, but they never sent any info or called back. The 3rd sounded more promising, Mark Lines at International Timeshare Refund. He explained that legal companies do not charge any kind of fees upfront and pointed me to a directive, that i have now read, and had I had calls asking for money to sell my points or get out of my points. Mark told me that many companies turn out to not be registered and that they can not only get money back that I’d lost in the past but also they have a proven way to dispute with Diamond my contract. I am waiting their info pack in the post that apparently explains everything and gives his company registration which i will be checking on receipt. The 4th, call, also from David last week from Inspired Legal Services. I had a follow up call from a male consultant explaining that his company could also get us out of our points but at a fee of £2,000 upfront. At this point we are getting fed up and the price was going up on each call so i asked him to send info. When i opened it i realised that it was exactly the same as i had received from Equitas Property Ventures. The wording is the same. This is what made me look them up. I have tried to find if this company is registered but cannot find them. i get the feeling that my personal info is being passed from one company to another. How do we stop all these calls?

    Hi

I’ve just been ‘Cold Called’ by another company – R G I International, based in USA – offering to advertise my Timeshare with a view to selling it. I asked how they got my name, add & Ph No. and they said ‘ From the Courthouse, where all your deeds are logged.’ Is that right?

    Michael

  7. Roy says:

I am being approached by legal Inspired as I type this, a Telephone call was a cold call and the number was withheld, I asked the guy, David if he was going to ask for £1000 up front and he said he was not aware of this and that it was a free service but was going to check it out as he was not happy as he thought it was free? He could not email me as he reckons he just has a phone on his desk and is just there to set up appointments via the phone with an experienced consultant, he did confirm they were based in Leamington, I suspect he won’t ring again.

    • Michael says:

I bet he will ring you again, with a plausible reason why he can’t contact you by Email etc AND with an assurance that there are no upfront fees. He’s just there to make appointments. He’ll sound sooooo genuine!
