A new cold caller with a strange name, Been Missold has started their campaign and emails are coming in daily with questions about their services.
Been-missold.co.uk as they state on their paperwork, are based in the UK.
Their address is 2c Bromborough Road, Bebington, CH63 7RE and their contact numbers are Phone: 0203 3840828 Fax: 0203 3840829
Been-missold.co.uk is a company offering legal services to those who have been mis-sold, such as DWVC members who seem to be their first target.
On the initial call the consumer is explained they can do a case study and will then inform if the lawyers think they have a case.
Of course so far no case refused and after the initial “study” the consumer receives by email from admin@been-missold.co.uk a pro-forma bill with the breakdown of expected claim and charges.
The payment Been-missold.co.uk requests upfront is £2250 and after the claim has been done and the consumer has the money in his account he will be required to pay a 25% of the money received to the lawyers.
As far as we can see there is no company registered at the UK Companies House under the name Been Mis-sold, and neither does there seem to be a legal advisor based on the above address.
The website www.been-missold.co.uk is not up and working and the domain was registered in October by somebody in Spain.
So we have a supposed legal consultancy, not registered at the UK Companies House, cold calling timeshare consumers and requesting an upfront fee of around £2250
We would certainly recommend extreme caution and no payments to be made upfront!

I have been contacted by, initially Consumer Matters and subsequently Been-Missold with regards to being miss-sold a Club Class Concierge Membership.
The Lady who called sounded most sympathetic with what had happend and extremely confident in being able to resolve the problem and get my money back, however, as soon as they requested an upfront charge (and receiving a proforma invoice) I got suspicious.
I ask for various pieces of proof of their Company in order to make an eductaed decision.
I receiveced the Company Registration details = Aeolian Management Group Ltd (trading as Been Mis-sold), country of incorporation = Cyprus.
This raised alarm bells.
Spoke to the Timeshare Consumers Association who subsequently replied with “FR***”.

Have just been contacted by Been Mis-sold [10:45 18/07 - "out of area", so unable to advise of number - Scottish lady, very pleasant!!! ] and advised that a recent court case had identified numerous companies who had mis-sold timeshare/holiday clubs etc and did I think I was entitled to re-imbursement as my name/details had “come up”. I played it close to the chest and asked where my deatails had been obtained from, I was advised that they had been passed to the company by the courts!!! I then advised her that the Data Protection Act prohibits the use of my data beyond its original use [in this Case Club Class Concierge], unless I give personal permission for this to happen – I did not. She quickly apologized and terminated the call!!!!
Have received an email today regarding non payment of membership. Have told them I took advice from Mindtimeshare.and will not be paying any money to them. Wonder if they will now take the hint!!!!

we have been contacted again from pro travel saying if we dont keep payment up we will loose availability,HELLO !!! PRO TRAVEL we do not care so do 1…..!!!! We will just ignore, thought we would let you know that they are trying it in again, we are Hampshire area. think ill tell them to have a look at your Mindtimeshare blog and maybe just maybe they will releise there going to get no where. thats all for now.

i have been called by this company, when i explained that mindtimeshare helped me to get my money back from club class i was told to have a nice dayand then hung up
