A new alert goes out for a company called Comoviajar in Valencia, Spain
This company Comoviajar pretends to be a travel agent who is now expanding to the sale of timeshare memberships.
Strangely enough all the consumers they have contacted so far on their cold calls are Voyager Travel owners. So there might be a connection between the two, or somebody has got hold of a Voyager Travel owners list.
(To read more about Voyager: http://mindtimeshare.me/?s=voyager)
Como Viajar or Comoviajar has a website www.comoviajar.com which seems to be a travel agency booking engine. There is no address, no contact details, simply a web to book holidays and other related products. No mention of timeshare though!
You always wonder how they have buyers lined up as it isn’t advertised anywhere they actually sell timeshare!
After the initial cold call with a lady called Monique van Kampen, the timeshare owner receives several documents by email including a sample contract from a man called Jonathan Ellis.
It becomes quickly very clear in this paperwork that Comoviajar does not know the New Timeshare Directive as they ask for an amount to be paid upfront by the “seller” in order to secure the sale. We have seen amounts rounding the €2500!
The address on the paperwork is Avd. General Urrutia 40, 46013 Valencia , Spain and they even mention a registration number CIF.: B-92620145
Tel.: +34 96 06 533 05 and Fax: +34 96 04 536 75 and email comoviajar@email.com
With the information we have received from consumers and the research we have done, we can certainly not recommend this company.
