Not the first time we mention companies that invite consumers on behalf of ITRA and this time the company is called Transparent Consultancy Services.
The cold call is initiated with the usual pitch that timeshare owners will be able to recover their money through a Group Claim against their timeshare company.
The timeshare owner who is interested in recuperating some of his money is invited to a meeting in Slough at the ITRA offices.
The Timeshare owner is assured in the invitation from Transparent Consultancy Services that the claim will be on a NO WIN NO FEE basis. But there is also a mention about a “provisional” appointment at a local notary office to sign the Power of Attorney. And we all know that this is not for free and where it ITRA concerns, the costs for these administration issues mount up to a couple of thousand pounds!
Transparent Consultancy Services have an office at the following address:
Colne House – 2nd floor, Colnbrook High Street. Berkshire, SL3 0LX and the phone number to contact them is: 0208 952 1000 and Email: Slough@itra.net
The letter they send out is signed by International Timeshare Refund Action
It is rather confusing once again who the timeshare consumer is dealing with, it all starts off with Transparent Consultancy Services but then ITRA comes into the correspondence and it the actual meeting organizer! Why can’t they be straight from the start? Why all these name changes and different addresses?
What about the cold calls, who gave the contact details to who, ITRA to Transparent Consultancy Services, what about Data Protection?
We are sure that Trading Standards in Slough will be interested in knowing all the above!
For those who don’t know who ITRA is and what happens at their meetings, please have a look at the link to the articles published on our blog: http://mindtimeshare.me/?s=itra

To avoid getting taken advantage of by a timeshare scam, it is important that you take your time when considering a purchase of this magnitude. Do not purchase without doing research on the company and its developers. Check to see if the developers have completed any other projects, and what their reputation is like for customer service. Ask to speak with some of their timeshare owners so that you can get a sense of the real experience you may have with the timeshare.
There are good articles on how to use timeshares properly.
