Club Premier Consultants sold Club Class Concierge on Costa del Sol, this time a story with a happy ending!

We are pleased to tell the happy ending of the story of Mr. and Mrs. Cooper who contacted the RDO Enforcement team late December 2010 with their concerns about having signed up for a membership with Club Class Concierge, through the marketer called Club Premier Consultants, www.clubpremierconsultants.co.uk, under the impression that by signing up for this discounted holiday club, they would take over their 2 floating timeshare weeks in a resort on the Costa del Sol.

Totally unaware of the fact that Club Class Concierge had not done anything with weeks, in spite of this being part of the agreement and the deeds actually being handed over to Club Class Concierge, Mr. Cooper contacted me, after he received the maintenance fees bills for the 2 weeks from the management company of his resort.

As Mr. Cooper provided all the paperwork and payment receipts to the enforcement team who could then assess the steps to take, it was decided he would send a registered letter to Club Premier Consultants in order to cancel the membership, based on the fact they had done a breach of contract by not taking over the timeshare weeks apart from the fact the Coopers never got access to the booking system as also promised in the membership contract. With this written cancellation Mr. Cooper then contacted his credit card provider and requested a refund based on section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 where consumers can rely on a refund in the case a payment has been done for a product that has been misrepresented to them or breach of contract.

Last week Mr. Cooper sent an email to the RDO Enforcement team with the good news that all the monies were refunded to his account.

Club Premier Consultants, selling Club Class Concierge, are fortunately already inactive, but there are other sales point from this discount holiday club operating on the Costa del Sol.

Club Premier Consultants were cold calling timeshare owners claiming to be selling the timeshare weeks or points to their corporate clients.  They offer free accommodation to the timeshare owner to visit them and discuss to buy their points or timeshare week(s).

We always advice consumers not to deal with ‘companies’ that cold calls. It is never a good sign.

The latest companies address and details are as follows:

CC La Cala de Mijas. Edificio Supersol s/n. Ed C. 1A Planta N11. 29649 Mijas Costa, Spain.

Spanish Identification number: J 92990431,

Telephone: 0034 952599419 and bank details: Cta bancaria en Cajasur, de Avda Bulevar de la Cala. Local 23. Mijas.

Local authorities in the Costa del Sol area should be aware of these kind of companies and their active sales offices which harm the image and in general the tourist industry of the area.

Peoples’ holidays should bring back happy memories and the desire of returning to the Costa del Sol for another lovely holiday experience but being captured by companies like Club Class Concierge can damage this image and create negative feedback and publicity.

The Enforcement team from Mindtimeshare is here to help those consumers that got trapped into memberships of these so-called Discount Holiday Clubs and give all advice and information to get out of these fraudulent contracts and demand refunds from their credit card companies.

    Good Morning
Thanks for your reply to my e-mail – we were sold Club Class Concierge – did all the correct procedure to get our Cash Bank from there office in Gibraltar – (Never forthcoming). At the time it looked to good to true with all the six free holidays ( 2 x World Wide and 4 x European Destinations) we would have got for joining – A Travel Company called Golden Travel which we had six brochures for each holiday send a admin fee of £69.00 and your holiday was booked – after sending the first one we did not receive any replay or a holiday – that is when we knew it was a con – including the cheaper Flights and Holidays etc you could find cheaper in adverts and on the Web.- what we thought would be good for our retirement was just a con to get monies out of pensioners – If you could help please advise – Denis & Dorothy Wreford

  7. Harris says:

We naively signed up, following a top prize win on a scratchcard, in 2005 with Holiday Warehouse (since ceased to trade). We have never been able to book any holidays despite trying repeatedly but have continued to receive the offer of a ‘free week’s holiday’ and paid the membership fee. We never managed to get the ‘free week’ and following a phone call where they explained they had oversubscribed and been unable to meet members’ requests, they have approached us as Club Class Concierge for a further membership fee or cancellation fee telling us we owe them £300. We’ve replied citing their failure to meet their obligations to us and refusing to pay anything more. Is there anything more we should do? Thank you.

  8. Liz says:

I have read all the comments on your page and have to say I have been conned by HalfMoon Holdings. I gave them 1.195’00 Eur on 15th March and now I can’t contact them. I would be glad of your advice.

  9. William R Mizon says:

Albert, You helped me sometime go 2007/08 about ways to reclaim against ETOO ( got money back 2010), did not have any luck against Club Class or Club Class Concierge or Cash back Europe, I claimed against Credit Card using the Info you gave me Credit Card Act 74/SECTION 75. They kept asking for information that I had sent them, but they said they ad not received it, I resent all the information again and used recorded Delivery and yet again they said they had’nt got them till I gave them the time and date the information was signed for. But after 13 months they told me I did not meet the criteria and I had claimed under wrong legislation. I went through Fin/Omb who got the money from ETOO, but said I had used wrong legislation grounds. But Club Class U K and C- C – Concierge UK asking for management annual fees. I still have the timeshare they said they had purchased and I’m still getting cold alls from resale companies offering to bye, but its just as you have stated there is snags. yours Sincerely W R ( BOB ) Mizon

    • Dear William,

I would insist with the Financial Omb and your Local Trading Standards.

I recommend you to not make any further payments to Club Class Concierge; basically ignore their calls.

Please keep me informed about any new resale company which might cold call you in the near future. The information consumers provide me is very helpful to close down these bogus companies.

And certainly, DO NOT make any payments to any of them! 99,9999% are BOGUS!.

      • Lynn says:

Hi have been contacted by EXCALIBUR MARKETING they say that they have a buyer for my club class concierge timeshare and they will pay £12,450 but I have to pay a retainer on my credit card of 1,400 euro’s. do you know anything about this company.

      • Hi Lynn,
        Thanks for your comment.
There is a blog article on here about Excalibur, but we will also email you the information.
Bottom line is, they should NOT be requesting any upfront fee as it goes against the law, so keep away from them and any others that request an upfront fee!
        Kind regards
        Customer Care
