Red Rock Marketing SL guarantees sale to Internet Travel Services

Red Rock Marketing SL is another dubious resale company that seems to be active at the moment allegedly based in Benalmadena on the Costa del Sol.

Red Rock Marketing S.L with address: Apartado De Correos Po.Box 31, Benalmádena Pueblo, Málaga 29639, Spain. And contact details: Tel 08453665913 and 08450758447 email: fax: 0034 952 577463

They contact timeshare consumers on cold calls they come up with a supposed “guaranteed” sale through their successful marketing system and request a “refundable deposit” and VAT related to the sale. (+/- 1800€). But it gets worse when after sending off the papers and supposed confirmation of the sale, they contact the timeshare owner again and request another “final fee” of about 3500€!!

The owner is bluntly told that if he doesn’t pay this fee he will lose the other money paid and they will take him to court for breach of contract!! Needless to say that nowhere in the paperwork any amounts upfront are mentioned and this takes the timeshare owner completely by surprise.

As expected… this sale doesn’t take place due to unforeseen circumstances but not to worry another buyer is found really quickly: Internet Travel Services, web site: (registered in March 2011) and phone: 08450758447

Red Rock Marketing S.L kindly sends over all the paperwork to do the relinquishment of the timeshare and the supposed sale, but reading the paperwork it actually states: “Please read and complete, where applicable, the following, in order to finalize you membership to Internet Travel Services.”

So the timeshare owner thinks he is selling his membership is actually purchasing a membership in a (worthless) Discount Membership Travel Club!!

Have you been called by Red Rock Marketing SL? Have you been offered a sale through Internet Travel Services? Please let us know!

Yes I was conned in exactly the way as decribed in your warning description. Cost me over £1000, paid in a desperate hope of retrieving monies paid to Sol Bookers who were taken over by Red Rock Marketing. When they demanded a payment of over 3000euros for legal fees, I questioned why as there was no mention of anything regarding this fee in their contracts. it was then that I managed to get advice from Mr Alberto Garcia and was told not to pay any more to these people as this is against EU legistration asking for monies up front.
So is Red Rock Marketing and Internet Travel Services,( one and the same companies ), still in opperation or hopefully now under full investigation. and what are my chances of getting any of my money back, I should be so lucky ! .

Was yesterday contacted by Charlotte of Timeshare disposal SL, Tel: 0845 5577254 to say that I would be able to recieve 72% of my reclaim voucher from the Spanish government and some one would contact me today to go through the details.
Got a call this morning from Anne Brown “with an e” !! giving all the bank details (Santander) in Benalmadena. Acc name Avda Garcia Loca s/n 26931. I had to transfer £990, which I have not, for legal fes and a notary would be in touch with all the neccessary paper work. I told her I wanted the notary to contact me with their details before I would do anything, whats the betting I hear no more. As with everyone else who has been sucked into this sorry mess I am really angry that the authorities seem unable to put these seemingly fraudulent people where they belong. Presuming they are of course.

I have been approached by Stuart Thompson and Mary Taylor purporting to be from a company called Timeshare Disposal located in Benalmadena, Spain. I have a reclaim certificate for an Incentive Leisure Group/Designer Way Vacation Club scam. In a telephone conversation with Stuart he also reckoned he could get me a refund of up to 72% of my costs. He said the Spanish Government has hold of the capital of ILG (whose MD was recently killed in a road traffic accident)after they went into liquidation. The remainder of 28% has been taken by the Spanish Government in lieu of taxes allegedly. They had a contract with the Spanish Government to deal on their behalf. Their contract runs out at the end of March so they were making it plain that I should not delay. At this stage they have never asked for money and indeed to be fair said they will not be asking for money because they had already been paid a contract fee by the Spanish Government to do this work for them. I delayed them saying I could not find the Reclaim certificate and fortunately found this website. I will not be having anything more to do with them. For someone not expecting to be paid they are making a lot of international phone calls to me to give me my money back. That alone aroused my suspicions. I will take your advice and ignore them in future. Many thanks.

I have just been contacted by (leeds tel. no) she said they could recover 80% of my Cashback Certificate (£12960) from a fund being held by the Spanish Government but I would have to transfer £985 to Red Rock. Another dreadful scam, have these people got no conscience

    • Hi Thomas,
I am afraid the answer is no..just read the blog and all the comments, these companies don’t stop and if they have to stop they appear with another name.
      Kind regards

Hi there, I have been just contacted by Wendy from offering me 72% of the value of my reclaim certificate in return for 623 Euros. She was the third caller over last year or so to putting across a similar offer, so I was very suspisious anyway. I have asked her to email me the details discussed together with the bank details of the solicitors who were going to be dealing with our claim. The bank acount name is Red Rock. Hmmm, very strange name for a solicitors?? Sounds like Red Rock Marketing all over again just under different name! Thank you Alberto and all in mindtimeshare.

    • Dear Lucie,
      Thank you for your message.
The upfront fee is already dodgy, but them paperwork with Red Rock Marketing, well what can we say? Don’t even go near them!
      Kind regards

We were contacted last Friday by a Wendy Phillips,( Red Rock?) all about our reclaim certificate. 72.5% would be ours if we paid 622 Euros for solicitors fees. The paperwork was e-mailed for us to take to our bank. Our bank was not happy, asked if we had contacted a solicitor. The Bank recommended we do. I have contacted Trading Standards, awaiting a reply. We have also been contacted by several companys recently about selling our Deigner Way Vacation.

    • Hi Mick,
      Thanks for your message.
I think you can call it lucky that your bank didn’t like the looks of the paperwork!
You saved yourself a lot of money and hassle there!
      Kind regards

we have been contacted by redrock and have already paid them the 648euros but when they have asked for another 1940.10euros i got suspicious its for the reclaim certificate and 72% of the value back …having read this it upsets me to find its yet another scam

    • Hi,
      Thanks for the message.
Well you have found us, so please don’t even consider paying these people a penny more and we will be emailing you with further guidelines on how to proceed.
      Kind regards

  8. Frank Clarke says:

I have been contacted today by Red Rock Marketing stating that they are acting on behalf of the liquidators for Incentive Leisure Group. They stated that they had been employed by the liquidators to contact people in possession of Reclaim Certificates to pay 72.5% (currently) of the Certificate value. The solicitor fees required were 600 Euros plus IVA of 108 Euros which could be claimed back as I am not a resident of Spain. Once they have received payment they would put me in touch with a Notary in my locality who I would meet to go through the paperwork, sign it and have it sent off to the Spanish solicitors. Once this was done payment of my Reclaim Certificate value would be paid directly into my bank account via bank transfer. Only when this has happened do I send off the actual Certificate for the file to be closed. I was told that the funds allowing this to happen were rapidly being used up and would run out in a matter of weeks so I need to get in early. Is this genuine or another version of the scam?

    • Dear Frank,
Thank you for your comment and the description of this new pitch.
Still very dubious and unbelievable as there are no such people employed by liquidators to contact people.
Different pitch, same advice….don’t pay and hang up when they call!
      Kind regards

    • Dear Gian,
As you can read in the blog, the experience we have is that that the guaranteed sale does not exist and they simply are after your money!
Do not pay them a penny please.
      Kind regards
