PARAMOUNT MARKETING, offering a “legal way” to dispose of your timeshare?

An apparent new company has started cold calling timeshare consumers offering a legal way to take their names off the deeds.

Paramount Marketing with address unknown and telephone number 0871 244 5194

Needless to say that the website does not comply with the legal requirements for websites.

Paramount Marketing claims to have helped “thousands” of timeshare owners, which is amazing taking in mind their web was only set up 2 months ago.

Maybe they mean through the other dubious companies they seem to be related to and are based in Nerja on the Costa del Sol in Spain, which we already warned about on this blog:

Supposedly this service they offer goes actually through another company who gives 2 options for disposing of your timeshare. One option is to part exchange the timeshare (for discount holiday club membership?) and recover some of the monies paid or a total disposal of the timeshare by removing the name of the deeds legally.

Obviously this is not done for free!

Lately we are hearing a lot of pitches using the words legal, which is actually quiet cynical having in mind that these companies who love to use this word all off the sudden, seem to be far from doing things “legally” or honestly to say the least.

Before you pay companies like this any money or accept an invitation to go and visit them to discuss the timeshare disposal, please reflect for a moment and think about how on earth did they get your details? Why are they not identified on the web and is there no address? Are the companies that seem to be related to Paramount Marketing trustworthy? Why pay money upfront or buy into a Discount Holiday Club with no guarantee?

Have you been called by Paramount Marketing on 0871 2445194, have they offered you to dispose of your timeshare through their company? Please let us know!

Paramount JUST called me. And guaranteed they’d sell my blue green timeshare in 60-90 days. I pay a 10% ($1850) fee up front. And then if it doesn’t sell in 60-90 days, I get it back. Is this legit?

I have today been contacted by the ‘Legal Department’ of Castle Marketing who say they offer a legal way of taking our name off the deeds. It all sounds like the Paramount info I have just read about – is it the same company and is it yet another scanM

Went to meeting on Sat 14/01/2012, I was kept waiting for over an hour this was rude so I left. I did however hear what the three sales reps were saying, £2295.00 to dispose of your timeshare, of which Paramount take £695.00 fees. Other alternatives were offered and of course the punters there were shown timeshare on EBAY to be worthless. BEWARE<BEWARE<BEWARE. Stay away from these guys.
