The TS Consultants, meeting invitation for a corporate resale of the timeshare..

The TS Consultants, TSC or Timeshare Consultants is the latest resale company detected with a dubious pitch on corporate resale of timeshare memberships.

TSC with website http://thetsconsultants.com and telephone number +34 971 679 151 which is area code for Mallorca and an address in Carrer D’Arago 141, 07800 Ibiza, Balearics, Spain.

On their website, which was only registered a month ago, they claim they are an upfront resale company who aims for a non-pressured environment and no requirements of upfront fees or retainer fees.

So far so good… For this ideal sounding resale, they do require the consumer to travel to Spain, to Mallorca to be more exact, and do a face to face meeting with the buyers which are corporate buyers / companies who are paying TSC a commission when a sale is completed.

TSC assures on the website there is no presentation of another holiday product involved.

On the page of FAQ’s the question is asked why the travel expenses are not covered directly. The answer is that years ago when this was the case they found that a lot of sellers would take the opportunity for a free holiday but then would not sell their timeshare.(.. does this sound very convincing?) So now, the seller has to pay his own travel but this will be reimbursed when the sale is completed.

Another questions is “Why can’t they come to my house?” and the answer is that these companies have all their papers in their offices to complete the sale swiftly.

Which offices? How many companies are there in Mallorca bulk buying timeshare and with all the paperwork prepared? Wow! Why didn’t we hear about this before?

The above, we know isn’t much information, and we can only guess if it is true or not, so we need your help for more information.

Have you been contacted by TS Consultants? Have you travelled to Mallorca and assisted to one of their “face to face” meetings?

We would like to know!

Do not have any dealing with TS Consultants, they arranged a meeting for use to transfer our timeshare points with either Blue Horizons or Executive travel and leisure, in Mallaga…… , at the meeting we were asked to pay legal fees to cover the transfer, asking for money upfront is against the law, when I emailed TS regards this…..guess what never replied….do not trust them….cr**** , li***and fra******* whose place in life should be behind bars….and forced to pay back the people they swindle….also another one is Excalibur …different name same tactics, probably same people.

  2. Joan says:

Sorry mistakes in typing – only £100.00 offered.

  3. JANET says:

Hi I have just been contacted by TS MARKETING and have arranged a meeting at 220 ashley rd,hale, for 25/02/2012, can any one confirm if this company is ok or is it another scam, they say there is no fee and they are not trying to get us to buy another time share deal, we want to sell are property in florida but dont know who you can trust to do this can anyone help please

    • Joan says:

We also had ameeting at the same address where we were introduced to Ecoresorts. Their aim is to get you to invest in land and property in the Dominican Republic. They offered to purchase our timeshare for £3000 as part of the deal or to walk away with £100m offered. Can’t help with the validity of the scheme. We have no available funds and they wanted us to release equity fom our home, so no deal.

  4. Mary says:

Hi I have just been contacted by TS Consultants, setting me up with a meeting in Basildon in a few weeks regarding sale of my time share, was very keen at first as I would give it away if I could, must have been crazy to buy in the first place with Club la Costa. After reading all above I wont be going now.

  5. Paul Cobbold says:

Uh Oh! It seems that I have also been ‘led astray’ by the smooth talking United Online back in early November 2011. Usual story it seems – client unable to complete (this time because they are behind in their maintenance payments with DRI and DRI refuse to allow them to purchase more points….from anywhere), Corporate Clients will purchase my points for ‘slightly’ more than the original private offer. Trip required to Fuengirola to meet corporate client face-to-face etc.etc. but I have refused to go.
Original retainer of £1,300 taken in November 2011 from my Mastercard.
Can you please advise on ways to possibly retrieve this money.
Wish I’d heard of your Website before being lulled into this con!
    Thanks.

  6. Mrs Joan Dudley says:

We were contacted by Active Marketing in November and attended a meeting in Hale, Cheshire. They agreed to purchase our timeshare with Heritage if we entered into an agreement to raise finance for buying a property in Dominican Republic at no cost to us – all to be paid for by the developer at Royal Sunrise Country Club part of The Sanctuary.
Today, we had a call from TS Consultants wishing to buy our timeshare and were surprised to see their address also as 220 Ashley Road, Hale.
Does anyone know of the above company and their dealings?

  7. Paul says:

We are due to go out mid December….So a little concerned now.
We had one company United Online who had a buyer then that fell through and now we have been passed onto TS Consultants (because they deal with Corporate). I have queried the guy and he again assures me that no sales presentations……
So if anyone else has met them it would be hgood to hear from you..

    Thanks
    Paul

    • Hi Paul,
      Thanks for the message.
What we know about this meeting is that you are presented with a weird investment plan over 5 years for which you have to pay a lot of money to join. There is a cashback at the end.
Nothing about timeshare sale, another twist to get your money.
We are sending you more info by email.
      Kind regards

My husband and I made the trip to Spain last week-end to meet our corporate buyers, this is a complete scam and all they are after is for you to join a cash back scheme with GUARANTEED returns if you put thousands into it which is then tied up for three years, and it’s anybody’s guess what happens after the three years are up but I can guess. Don’t be tempted by them or another co. called UnitedOn Line, they are all connected and should be avoided at all costs….. Lynne

      • Paul says:

        Hi Lynne,
        Thanks for that.
I have posed the question regarding this to TS Consultants and as of yet they have not come back to me (4 days now). I wanted to receive something formal that stated that there would be no sales pitch etc..
I assume you did not sign over your timeshare?
Have you had any feedback from TS Consultants?
I have also posed the question to United Online and whilst they were supportive in the change over to TS we have now heard nothing from them.
I will let you know how I got on..

        Kind regards
        Paul

      • Hi Lynne,
        Thanks for your message.
We would like to hear more about the meeting.
We will send you a message by email.

  8. Trudi Parsons says:

Hi we have been contacted by TS Consultants they are now in Allison House, Capricorn Centre, Cranes Farm Road, Basildon, Essex. SS14 3JA , I thought this must be some kind of scam, we are supposed to go a meeting at 1.30pm this Saturday, again they say no fees, no charges but we must take photo id of who we are etc. Please can you explain to me exactly how this scam works, what do they get, did you actually attend the meeting?

    • Dear Trudi,
      Thanks for your message.
These meetings are about investment projects and paying more money.
People who are not interested in spending more money, are not really offered a disposal of the timeshare at all.
      Kind regards

  9. Robert Dodsworth says:

Sorry too late, don’t go. Nothing on offer, no purchase, no expenses, no costs. TS Consultants valued mine at £17500, they are not in Benidorm, just met third party, offered to take my points, if I paid next years fees, and transfer legal costs of approx £20k. offered possible returns of funds in 5 years. Its just another sales pitch!

  10. Almond says:

PLEASE could someone who has actually been to see these people tell us what this is about. We are booked to go to Benidorm in 10 days time. Help!!!!!

  11. Ian Oliphant says:

I have been invited to a sale meeting at 220 Ashley Road, Hale, Cheshire. WA15 9SR.
This Seams to be a muti use house that has had various solicitors acting from it.
However there is a TATOC issue Consumer Alert – TS Consultants at this address

  12. Summo says:

We’ve has two calls from the TS consultants, interestigly two different approach – one travel to Spain/Mallorca for a meeting, the other travel to stratford in the UK. Interestingly both parties we have spoke to from the organisation deny knowing each other, and the lass I’ve spoken to this evening say’s they would never ask you to travel abroad – that said they share the same phone number and address……?

    • Ian Oliphant says:

On turning down the trip to Palma I was offered a meeting in the UK possibly Manchester.
Still heard nothing on this second offer but only one week since last telephone call.

    • Dear Summo,
Thanks for the message and the information.
Sounds all very dubious when they call twice, don’t know eachother and call from the same number..oh dear oh dear!
      Thanks for letting us know
      Kind regards
      Customer Care

  13. Ian Oliphant says:

The TS Consultants have contacted me with a sale for my timesale. They want me to travel to Palma as above but their letter states there is no sales associated with this visit. Are they legit, Do they have customers and would I get my costs back on completion of the sale. They are contacting me tomorrow Friday to talk about the completion

    • Hi Ian,
The visit to Palma, Mainland Spain or Canary Islands is never to just receive the money for the sale…
What we have heard about TS Consultants is that it is yet again a presentation for an investment project…and more money to spent.
      Kind regards

  14. Brian says:

I have just attempted to call the number given above to see what sort of reception I get when I ask how long it will take to sell my membership of DWVC.

The auto system informs me the number is not available.

Seems they must be having problems with their telephone line hope they recover soon poor guys need to earn a living don’t they. hmmmmm

  15. Brian says:

I have a new one for you and I have to admit I am finding it interesting.

I had a call from a company called T S World. They ask if I am interested in selling my DWVC Membership.

They said they do not want cash up front. The will take their commission out of the final sale figure.

They say that at no point will I be asked for money at all.

I told them that as DWVC is in liquidation I felt I did not have anything to sell.

They say that DWVC had been taken over and my membership was included in the takeover.

They also tell me that I will not be asked to attend any meeting.

They say that they got my contact information direct from DWVC on a spreadsheet.

Right now I have told them to go ahead as I have paid nothing and have no intention of paying a cent either.

I am unable to work out what the scam is on this one but I am prepared to bet it is a scam.

I suspect that at some point I am going to be asked for my bank information but have no intention of letting that out of my wallet either.

The lady said they are based in Spain and gave a phone number of : 0871 244 5166

I find myself wondering if this is in fact T S Consultants working under a slightly different name but for the life of me I can not see the scam.

I hope you can enlighten me I need educating quickly. !!

    • Thanks Brian for letting us know.
New name and no fees upfront…shame they claim DWVC has been taken over because that is a bit strange?
Let’s see what happens and please keep us updated.
      Any website?
      Kind regards

    • Max Rodwell says:

      Hi Brian,
I had a call from TS World a few days ago. They said they were London based!! The guy gave the same sales talk as others……Half Moon Holdings and ILG. to name only two from a long list of Call Callers trying it on. After letting him go through the same sales talk as other I waited for the punch line…£1095 up front. Yeah right!! Another scam be assured.

  16. anne Martin says:

Hi Have been approached by travel promotions to sell my timeshare on a Russian web site the link is http://www.holidaytimeshare.ru/ I would need to pay £590.00 to buy 2 weeks holiday at any of the resorts advertised on ther web page, having read your page i presume that this is just another scam and they dont end up selling the timeshare, please can you give me some advice on this.
    Thanks
    Anne Martin

    • S Leonard says:

I Anne – I see nobody replied to you. Hope you didn’t pay this frauster any money, unfortunately my parents have parted with 650euros. The holiday they promised doesn’t seem to have been honoured with constant put offs. They also have a bogus office in London which is a ‘mailing address’. I just feel they have been ripped off yet again. They claim the Russians are desperate for an address in Malta – a hotel is not a individual address. They have claimed they can sell the timeshare for £16k – how unrealistic, nobody wants a timeshare these days. The ‘buying two week’s holiday’ is just a way of getting an unfront fee which is actually illegal.
