A new alert goes out for a company that has started only recently, Carrillo Herrera from Cadiz in Spain.
The address is Calle Santa Cruz de Tenerife, 5-2 Cadiz 11007, telephone numbers are 0034800808941 and 0034901009294, email carrillohererra@email.com
Mr. David Rice is the cold caller and he explains they are acting as liquidators of DWVC/ILG and that funds were being held in the central bank of Spain with regard to Reclaim being liquidated. He explains the timeshare consumer that a large amount of money which he is due will be deposited in his bank account.
Wow that is good news! Shame nobody is aware of any money waiting in bank accounts after the liquidation and of course this cold call could not just end there and receiving the money in due course…
A Spanish lady called Pilar Jimenez calls the consumer back and explains the money has not been transferred due to the fact he has to pay tax first…
She gives the consumer 2 options, one is to pay the tax up front before they could release funds, and the other option is to re-submit the claim which will take about 6 months.
On the address in Cadiz there is no Carrillo Herrera to be found, there is neither a first name so who is Carrillo Herrera?
The telephone numbers are supposedly a free number and a shared charges number, but what are the charges?
No website, no nothing…
Not a lot of information for a company that claims to be working on behalf of the Spanish Government!
Please be aware that there are no companies in Spain acting on behalf of the government asking for tax payments, ever!
Have you been called by Carrillo Herrera in Cadiz?
Please let us know.

Hi Jeanette,
Thanks for your comment.
Any resale company asking for such a substantial upfront fee cannot be trusted, believe me!
Kind regards

I’ve had a call from ‘The Ultimate Holiday Package’ offering cruises with Royal Caribbean with all the trimmings etc. etc. Has anyone had dealings with them, are they kosher, or another crowd of scammers?
Hi Richard,
Thanks for your comment.
You and a lot of others have been called lately so we just posted a blog article on here about this company.
Have a look and we will send you also info by email.

Yes we have had a cold call from UHP one Sunday morning claiming to be Bonus Weeks and they promised they could get us 2 weeks accommodation in the Imperial Hotel in Malta for the last week in August and the first week in September. It was offered £396 approx then just as I agreed to pay by credit card they said they could throw in another 2 weeks, to be used any time in the next 3 years for a total of £440. The next day we booked a flight online to Malta for exactly those 2 weeks. When we phoned telling them we now had booked the flight for them to go ahead the accommodation, the lady on the phone went really mad telling me that I should not have done that because they could not confirm any accommodation availability in Malta. Went on to say whether I would be interested in a cruise. After several arguments by e-mail with a lady called Jenny Cotton I insisted on a refund because I maintained I was miss-sold their product stating that they were not entirely honest from the start. To cut a long story short I have at least managed to get refund from my Mastercard company 60 days after the refund claim.
On the same subject, does anyone know anything about Southern Retail(s) Solutions.
Hi Betty,
