Leisure Alliance, another Club Class Membership looking for fees..

The month of March has certainly been busy for the Customer Services Departments related to Club Class, and their latest mailing for fees has been the one for Leisure Alliance.

Leisure Alliance, www.leisurealliance.com kindly remembers the consumer his membership is up for renewal. Surprising as most of the members didn’t even know this club was still active!

Upon paying £75 the member will receive a new card, valid for 12 months, and in case he wants to order a copy of the 370+ page full color portfolio of Leisure Alliance promotions it will cost another £20

Contact numbers for Leisure Alliance are: 0870 770 5302 or (00 34) 952 922 505

As mentioned in our previous blogs (http://wp.me/p1kmoi-ka) about these fee requests, this sudden urge to get all accounts updated comes a bit at a strange time, having in mind that in the UK there is a court case going on against the different Club Class company’s part of the Club Class Group (http://wp.me/p1kmoi-cJ)

Before you decide to pay the renewal fee, please do ask yourself first, what am I getting out of this? Are these services worth paying another £75?

Were you aware this club was still existing or as many others this mailing comes as a surprise?

Before paying any more money to this company, think about you have spent so far and if it was worth it!

My husband and I are in the same predicament as all those who hace posted on this website – being threatened with debt recovery. We are with what is now titled The Club Class Holiday and Lifestyle Club, which administered by Leisure Alliance plc. Have just rang them, guess, what, all our representatives are busy, leave a message and we will ring you back. What next? It is very worrying.

I too have received letters threatening to send in the Baillifs as alledgedly i owe them £670.( 2 Letters in 10 Days!) Has anyone had the Baillifs, or is this a similar threat to ones from Diamond Resorts, and Daniels Silverman?

Received a letter today demanding £570 or for immediate settlement I could pay £350 upon receipt of which they would terminate my contract which, by the way, I terminated myself in 2007 having never had a holiday via this company as they never had any available for the dates I requested. I have been contacted by other sources demanding money in order that I could claim compensation from Club Class, up to £800 for them mis-selling their product but that’s a scam also. This letter today is the first time I have heard from them since I terminated the contract and having rung them and been put on hold for an eternity I am now ignoring the letter and will wait for them to call me to court which will more than likely be in the never never.

We have also been scammed by Club Class, Leisure Alliance and Etoo. Now they say that a company called Blue Chip SL will buy our timeshare (which we were not aware that it was) if we pay £1200 up front. We have reported then to Action Fraud 0300 123 2040, so here’s hoping.

I have been contacted by Leisure Alliance Plc , and informed that I owe them £55 per year for 4 years to keep my membership alive , I told them that I used them once about 8 years ago and never went back or heard from them until now and that I no longer count myself as a member but they said it would cost me £330 to end my membership ! I have been stung by 2 holiday companies and a timeshare company to the tune of nearly £30,000.00 !! Every other week I am contacted by companies offering to get my money back but they want money up front and I think they are bogus as well !There is no money left ! I think this particular one from Leisure Alliance is a scam , but I cant help worry about it as they are threatening me with court action ! Please can anyone advise me on this subject ! regards Willie in Scotland.

I have also been contacted about membership fees that I have not paid. Why has it taken them 7 years to decide now that I have to pay it along with over 200pound cancellation fee. They are now threatening the bailiffs. Has anyone had the bailiffs set on them.

I have recieved many requests from Club Class stating I owe memberships for the past 4 years, these started to arrive in my inbox approximately 15 months ago. I have sent an email stating they send me my original paper work agreeing to the never ending membership but suprise surprise they have not responded. They have continued to resend the request for the overdue payment and state if I pay it I can reinstate my membership and can start using their great service!!!! I will not be sending any money or replying to their threats as I cancelled the membership immediately on my return home after being scammed in Tenerife and losing approx £35000 for sweet FA

Hi my mum and dad was scammed in 2005 they lost 3800, after two years paying £55 a year they cancelled it in 2008 never used the club class because they couldnt get what they wanted, they never heard from club class until this week saying they owed three years membership of £165 and if thwey didnt pay they would have bay lifts sent and that would cost more and they would be black listed, This is worrying time but i do not want to pay anymore to these people when they have already taken money. They said it was nova who scammed them not club class, and if my mum and dad pay the £165, it will all be cancelled and they will not here from them again, when i asked for paper work on mum and dad they said it was locked away in a safe in gerbrolta and it would cost me £175 to h
get them to me. can u please please help…. advice jen

I received a request too. I learnt an expensive lesson as nothing came out of it.
I wont be renewing and count it as a loss and move on.
