Excalibur Marketing like many others dubious resale companies seems to have chosen for a “name change” probably to avoid consumers finding the negative comments and warnings on the internet.
Previously known as Excalibur Sales & Marketing (http://wp.me/p1kmoi-3b), they are now cold calling under the new name Excalibur Marketing although they haven’t changed their tune!
Their web address has changed and you can find them now on http://www.excalibursite.com a very basic website with few or less information.
As company information Excalibur Marketing claims to be “Registered in Malaga Spain” but would it not be more than logical to mention the registration number?
Their contact number on the web is 0871 231 1241 and Email: admin@excalibursite.com
No address!
Their resale listing is surprisingly filled with Club Class, DWVC, Full Circle and Continent Connection Memberships. Yeah right!
Cold calling consumers with a guaranteed resale, they offer a very high price for the membership but to process the sale they need to take 1395 Euro’s from a credit card.
The agent from Excalibur Marketing states that the Office of Fair Trading stated on 31st October 2007, that if this did not materialise, we would be covered by our Credit Card.
Please don’t be fooled by this! First of all as per the Timeshare Directive from 23/02/2011 there should be NO Upfront fee request for a timeshare resale, and secondly if you claim a refund from a credit card payment you have to proof mis representation or breach of contract. After paying and the sale falls through, Excalibur Marketing will continue to market your timeshare as per their contract…so the claim for a refund will be in dispute!
Have you been called by Excalibur Marketing from 08712311241 ? Please let us know!
You may write us an email to customercare@mindtimeshare.com or place a comment on our blog.
Excalibur still seem to be on the go! They keep phoning and leaving voicemail messages stating that they have ‘good news’ of a possible sale. We are processing a claim against them through WTC Administration.

I have just read this section and realised I have been scammed
Carolyn Lowe from Excalibur phone me after 2 other male callers in previous weeks offering £12500 for my club class membership.
She was very convincing and had a lot of information reference this holiday membership which we never used in the 12 years of ownership, she had somebody wishing to buy this membership and an annual fee of £75 had not been paid which accrued to £875 which would be paid by the new owner.
A fee of 2290 euro was paid to INTERNATIONAL DIAMANZAFI SL CUEVAS ALMANZ ES as a holding bond which was to be refunded when the paperwork transfer was completed this was 5th December 2013 still waiting paperwork 18th December.
Pity I did not research this Company before paying, she is a good con artist she has phoned back twice stating computer problems reference the delay on paperwork

We were telephoned this afternoon by a very honourable-sounding English lady, Carol Harris, from Excalibur, (Malaga) saying that they had a buyer for our DWVC membership. They already have the money in their account. For various reasons extra amounts got added on – it was becoming too good to be true, but we had to pay the notary’s fee which is now 2200 euros (but which would be returned to us afterwards) When she started saying that she would keep in touch, ringing us to check the paperwork had arrived, when she had been to the court, etc, I began to think,’ we’ve been all through this before, with a similar ‘ firm of conveyancing lawyers’, and – miraculously, when the promised cheque did not arrive, the phone-calls ceased!’ Fortunately we have been able to cry off before they took the money.
Hi
We have had 3 calls- this evening twice from a very plausible and charming Stephen Mills- he gave me the same script as others have described- luckily I asked him to call me back after he offered £8000 which he could ONLY offer until tomorrow at 7pm. I checked out the company and thanks to you knew which questions to ask to elicit more of the scripted answers!!! I told him we would not give our credit card details as had been victims of fraud[Too true, INFINITII and CLUB Class Im ashamed to say not once but ………..] and after trying to persuade me to pay 1395 euros by debit card he accepted that I would call him back once our credit card was settled or was that when hell freezes over!!!!!
Slow Learner Scotland
Hi like you I was co**** twice by Excalibur. After the first “sale” fell through I was told they could buy it off me thruogh the “corporate” route but it would cost another fee.All in all I paid €3000+ .I was told if I didnt go through “corporate route I would loose my initial payment.Like a fool I paid up.Still licking my wounds .These people are despicable
A very foolish liz
I just had these on the phone. A guy called Andrew Chambers. I told him I was no longer with Club Class. We had a long Legal battle to get our money back, and in the end we needed the Financial Ombudsmen to intervene by collecting the money from our Credit Card company.
They are a complete SCAM!!
I am intrigued that you got any money back- was this the money you paid for membership? We took out a loan for this and paid only a deposit by credit card.
I take it there was never any Cashback paid out?
In the same boat!
Anne
An Andrew Jennings phoned on Friday (10 th Aug 2012) saying that he could sell my holiday Club Class membership, which he knew I hadn’t used, and would phone again in a couple of days to give me some details.
On Monday 13th Aug I was contacted on the phone by Tracey Marshall who said she had a buyer and would the £8000 they had offered be acceptable. She then gave me various details including telling me several times that the card insurance would pay out if I, for some reason, lost the 1395 Euros “retained” money . When I showed some interest she requested my credit card details which I declined to do saying that I would need to discuss this with my accountant. I said she could phone me this morning but of course she never did. She was not willing to give an address or put anything in writing. She gave me a phone no she claimed was the admin department 087123 112411 and a web site address excalibursalesandmarketing.com which took me to an uninformative site with a different phone no and no contact address.
I strung her along as long as possible to try and get the maximum amount of information but she stuck to her story pretty well.
I hope people will find this website before giving credit card details to these fraudsters.
DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE SCA****S!!
We have paid the 1395 euros in march 2012 . this week were told there is a buyer for our holiday club membership and we noe need to pay a further £1100 as tax to the spainish government before we can recieve the payment for our membership. we have been told to pay this tax through Western Union. Can anyone give us advice please?
Dear Liz,
Please don’t pay a penny more to these people!
There is no such thing as tax payment due on a timeshare and never ever through Western Union.
On the name of an individual?
All lies!
Let us inform you about the possibilities to recover the previous payment, and ignore any further requests from these people.
Kind regards

Was contacted by a Tracy Marshall offering a buyer for our Club Class membership. As above she requested 1395 euros to conclude sale. I requested she put this in writing to which she replied she would send an email confirming everything. I am so glad I checked the internet and found this site before we were fleeced again.
Was phoned by Andrew of Excalibur today saying he had two buyers for my Club Class Membership. Didn’t take kindly to me from the word go telling him he was trying to swindle money from me. Huh – as if Club Class haven’t done enough of that already. Such a vicious circle I am caught in/
