Has Worldwide Associates called you to help recover money through court?

A new alert goes out for a cold caller Worldwide Associates who is cold calling timeshare consumers with the pitch to recover money through a court case against their resort.

The timeshare consumer is being told by Worldwide Associates that the court case is actually already in place and the consumer will be able to recoup their money.

Worldwide Associates have a website www.worldwideassociates.info which was registered in the 12th of May 2012

They claim to have offices in both UK and Spain and the addresses are:

For the UK: (Suite 787) Kemp House, 152-160 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX

For Spain: La Finca Local No 9, Amarilla Golf, San Miguel De Abona, 38620, Sta. Cruz de Tenerife, España

Contact number: 0203 1376 349 or 0203 137 9875

E-Mail: info@worldwideassociates.info

On their recently created website there is no mention of a UK Companies House registration for Worldwide Associates and neither any other company details.

They also seem to run a “relinquishment program”

We have no information about a fee being requested for the above “mediation service” but the fact that they are cold calling timeshare consumers who are not aware at all about any court case is worrying.

I was contacted my this company the mans name is Robert Duke and we are a bankruptcy law offcie and i could pull not info on this company not even an address…and the phone number he gave me had no info, i would call the BBB before handing over any info on you credit card or bank accounts.

I was also contacted by Robert Duke. He refused to give me any information because he said it was in my husbands name. Then he told me that someone would be at MY job tonite to serve me with papers for a court date in reference to a wage garnishment. I work in a DOC governed facility and I have been served many times before. They do not call you before they show up. If you have a court case open and you are being served for it they just show up and give you the papers. Anyways, I had my husband call him back to see if he would talk to him and he stated we defaulted on a loan about 5 years ago. Which is true. Also we set up payment arrangments to pay them back and about a year ago they stopped taking money from my account. I tried to contact the company but couldn’t find anyone who had any info on me or my account. I just left it at that. This guy told my husband that he would call it off if we gave him $2,000. Yeah right. Do not give any info over the phone. If they had your account info they would have your contact info as well. My husband requested them to send us something in writing and all of a sudden he had to take a conference call…..at 8:45pm. Yeah….ok….If he calls back I’m just going to tell him where to stick it. If they want to serve me they can find me. I already told him where I work and even gave him the business address. Hope this helps. 1-888-699-9546 was the number he left for me. They don’t even identify themselves when they answer the phone.

Hi, I was phoned again by Michael Godley of Worlwide Associates, he obviously wanted money up front for the “embargoed deal”, I said I would do it on a “no win no fee arrangement” ……… he didnt want to know ………. I said “if you are not willing to take the risk” …… “then neither am I”, he couldnt get off the phone quick enough.
So as with all these so called companys ………….. they just want your money!!!!!!!!!

  3. Robin says:

We too have been approached by Worldwide Associates who also use the name Worldwide Marketing. They offered to obtain a full refund (5197.50 Euros)
on our purchase of Connect 6 membership (this is not timeshare but a holiday company). The money would come from ‘Embargoed Funds’ they held. All appeared ‘too good to be true’ but very fishy. We will not touch them with a barge pole.

    • Hi Robin,
      Thanks for the comment
We feel you have made the right decision!
There are no embargoed funds, and less would they be offered to the victims through a third party company on a cold call..
      Kind regards
      Customer Care
