With the next two months being the most popular holiday months of the year, we cannot warn enough those who are travelling abroad, think twice before signing up for a holiday club, travel agency software or discount clubs! You should have a cooling off period, and any company claiming you don’t have a cooling off or right to cancel should not be trusted!

I have spoken to Maria Garcia an Obrigado who says they took a class action for 38 people to courtt last week in the Class Action Court in the District of Malaga reference KBD 946 against Incentive Leisure Group. They won £13,100 for me and now want their 15% recovery fee for the Prosecutor. The original company who started this was T & D Recovery back in June whom I paid £399.45. She says I could get a copy of the court documents and I can look this up with above reference. However I do not which court to contact. She says there is only one that deals with Class Actions. I said I didnt have the money. She says I will get 3 weeks to pay otherwise i WILL RECEIVE A BILL AND IF THAT IS NOT PAID THEY KEEP MY MONEY LESS THE 15% and the money goes to Malaga for flowers or whatever. Can you confirm if any of this sounds right?

As replied to you on the previous messages, please do NOT believe these people. There is NO money waiting for you and there are no court cases where money has been awarded to consumers.
This is a SCAM.
Full stop, no doubts, this is a fraud with the only objective to get money out of you and run.

I had a call yesterday from Verity.The guy said that they ask for no money up front ,at all, but would ask for 25% after the money has reached our account. Who knows?!!
I had a call from this lot yesterday afternoon, am already using another claims company but did a quick check, including an email to a journalist I’ve got to know in my pursuit of Cashback SA. He said to stay well clear of them, I’m not naming names but the management aren’t the nicest people, ex-timeshare etc. It could also lead to being pestered to death by other timeshare fiends once they know your details are correct. I wish I told them they had the wrong number!
I am currently communicating with Verity Claims Ltd who advertise that they operate a “No Win No Fee” system.
I have checked them on Companies House and they are listed as a new company.
They openly admit they are new and will confirm they will not ask for money up front EVER.
Yes, I admit this company did cold call me which I know is not the correct or right thing to do but for the life of me I am unable to see or say if this is a scam or not.
They know all about this site and had no objections to it when I told them they are listed as cold calling.
They said they know about this and have no concerns at all.
The address and phone number on the headed paper is correct and they always answer the phone no problem but I am unable to find the phone number on the BT business listings.
I am NOT saying there is a problem but I am being cautious as there are so many scams and really clever ones going on out there.
I am working on the principle that the more we know about Verity Claims the more we can be prepared if there is anything untoward going on.
As I hold the deeds to my membership I have doubt if they can claim the money back and keep it but if I am wrong I know someone on here will not be slow in telling me so.
I would be really interested in hearing from anyone who has had dealings, good or bad, with Verity Claims Ltd.
I sent copies of all my paperwork with Club Class Concierg some time ago to Verity Claims. They left a message on my ansaphone but I have heard nothing since September. I will try and contact them this week

I called Verity Claims and informed them of this post giving them the URL so they can read my comments.
The man I talk to is called Mike, he said he has no problem whatsoever with my comments.
This is a difficult one and has me puzzled as I am unable to work out what can happen.
They don’t want any money off me at all and will only get paid if they succeed in getting my money back. Can this be true I ask ???????
They did say it can take up to six months and in some cases longer so for me it is early days yet.
I am so surprised there is little being said about this company on Mindtimeshare and what is being said is neutral anyway.
The company is listed on TATOC for cold calling yes this is clear but there is nothing I can find which would make me suspicious of them and THAT is of concern to me or perhaps I am guilty of tarring all with the same brush ??
Can this be a scam or not and if it can be a scam HOW ????
PLEASE…if you know more about this company let us all know before some poor unsuspecting person loses a lot of money. !
Have recently received a demand for £99 membership fee from Continent Connections. They stated that they sent us a Membership pack some time ago but we do not have such an item. They say that to cancel our membership we would have to pay 3 years membership fee – £297. They are involved with Viva Connect whom, we have been told, is a fraudulent company to whom we have, in the past,paid over 800 euros.
Have you heard of these companies?

have got money back but today recieved email from edwin coe associates london offering to pursue claim for 40% just thought i would mention them to see if anyone else knows if they are scam i feel sure i have heard of them somewhere while i was trying to get money back
Can anyone tell me are the Spanish Government on the case and wanting taxes paid up front or is this another scam to get money? I have been variously asked any figure from 10 to 20 percent! And I have to pay and get no reply when I tell them to take it out of the monies and just pay net of tax. I wonder Why!!!!!!!

Yes this is a scam.
The Spanish government has nothing to do with timeshare resales or Reclaim certificates, court cases and money set aside to pay out to the victims. Believe me, when they ask you for taxes to be paid on behalf of the Spanish governement, you better hang up as this is a lie.

Excalibur Marketing.They want me to pay upfront into a bank account and then they say the Spanish Governement will release the money for payment. The other option is to go to Malaga town hall and register for a NIE number!

Someone called David Rice of Callero Havella was very plausible,and said that if we paid the tax of 12%
to the attached details which he said was the account of the Spanish Tax Office.Upon investigation it was an account
of a n individual
I was contacted by Travel Promotions who represent a company called Sell My Time share which is a branch within this company. They are offering 5 holidays for £1495.00 which can be taken over 10 years. They will advertise my time share free of charge and if it sells all the costs of the sale are covered by the £1495.00. This sounds like a dodge around the fact a law has been passed stopping these people charging “up front fees” BEWARE all. They repeatedly mentioned the Russians buying up properties.
have received a call and now documentation from Verity Claims Ltd about reclaiming money paid to
ILG /DWVC. They say nothing to pay upfront and will undertake a claim on a NO WIN NO FEE basis but will charge 25% on any money refunded.

Dear Alberto, Thank you for all your help and encouragement over the past few months.
I am now able to inform you that I have been successful in claiming all the money paid to Incentive Leisure Group (UK) back in 2008. I pursued a claim under Section 75 of The 1974 Consumer Credit card Act and today have received the full amount, paid back into my bank account.
Please advise all others with similar problems, that it is possible to do this yourself and not have to pay expensive so-called legal adivisors and other companies that want to charge to do the work for you.
Along the way I have also had free help and advice from Consumer Direct (goverment funded) and also the Financial Ombudsman.
My advice to others is, don’t give in, keep up the pressure on the credit card company involved, if that was their method of payment.

I’m interested in The Inspirations Group, has anyone heard of these people, have took our money and only reply when we contact them and then the replies are nonsense,going to change the names on deeds to directors, and that the proceeds are almost complete yet the trustees have never heard of them, we are now trying to get our money back from the Banks.

i can not believe half moon holdings are still in existence, they are c** artists, i was one of those that paid them money and never heard from them or able to contact them. when i contacted my credit card company to get my money back was told they were a legitimate company and that they could contact them quite easly, so they were not prepared to refund my money, it wasnt till i sent them the email i received from mindtimeshare that i was reimbursed. i was co**** by half moon holdings because they are very plausible. my advice is stay well clear

Dear Alberto have you any up to date information on Cashback that Incentive Leisure Group sold me into, I have been told Cashback are still operating but they dont reply to my E-Mail’s or phone calls
Haven’t heard anything about Half Moon Holdings for months. Haven’t been able to contact them, and they don’t reply to letters.However, with help from Mindtimeshare, we were able to get our money back from our credit card company.
Interested in update on Half Moon Holdings,who are refusing to return our deposit.
Has anyone had contact from Been Missold, Had proforma from them asking for £2,250.00 up front against a total sale price of £10,650.I have told them that we have no intention of paying any money before the sale is settled.(and we have the money) Don’t seem interested somehow!!
If you’ve not done so already, PLEASE contact your Credit Card Company. I am with RBS and within ten days of contacting them with all the paperwork from Half Moon Holdings, I had my refund put back to my card. They have been so good. HMH had sent me a membership to Principle Travel! They said it was the only way they would be able to sell my DWVC membership. As soon as I received the paperwork from HMH, I returned the ‘membership’ to Principle Travel. 2 months later my letter arrived back, having been opened by ‘someone’. No acknowledgement but it had been ‘returned to sender’ as undelivered. Yet again HMH proving they are just spinning one lie after another.
I am so grateful for all the assistance i have had from Mr Garcia and this Website. I have heard nothing further from HMH, even though they were supposed to be sending me my payment weeks before I ever contacted RBS.
I hope you have the same success as i have.
