The answer to the question if one should go or not to the meeting of Direct Consultancy Group is of course a personal decision

But for those who have been cold called by this company, we do want to expose the following information which we have found through our research.

Direct Consultancy Group is a cold caller, and they invite the timeshare consumer to a meeting at the Bewley’s Hotel at Manchester airport where they will be informed about Timeshare disposal.

This of course is not the first time we hear about a company with such invitations, but who are these people and where they did obtain your details?

First of all we have found indications that the Direct Consultancy Group is connected to other dubious resale and disposal companies based in Spain on the Costa del Sol.

Direct Consultancy Group is supposedly based in 35 Westfield Street, St Helens, Merseyside, WA10 1QA and their phone number is 0203 6376 015

Their website http://www.directconsultancygroup.com which was registered in August 2012, seems to have been set up in a hurry. The text on the front Home page has not been entered and the sample text still shows. It does say “Book now for prices starting at £299”…prices of what?

Information under the different tabs is different to what one expects, for example under the Mortgage TAB you will find the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s) and under Payment there is a sample text about Timeshare Disposals.

Also confusing is the Contact TAB where a different telephone number is displayed than on the front page with a different area code: 01619 372 751

There is no company registration on the web and neither any other information about the identity of this company.

So Direct Consultancy Group which seems to be a very recently created company, cold calls and invites people to meetings about Disposal. Their website is confusing to say the least and they don’t seem to be registered at the UK Companies House.

What are the chances that once the timeshare consumer goes to the meeting he will find himself in a presentation of some kind of Discount Holiday Club or Investment Project Overseas?
