The Vacation Outlet, cold caller for a guaranteed sale with upfront fee..

The Vacation Outlet has been brought to our attention this week, due to the fact they are cold calling timeshare owners and as so many others have buyers lined up waving with their money!

In order to sell the timeshare, the timeshare owner does need to pay an upfront fee, because The Vacation outlet is not taking the risk that after going ahead with all these successful sales, the timeshare owner pulls out and doesn’t send of the deeds.

For some unexplainable reason all these kinds of companies, old and new have never heard from the Timeshare Directive where it states clearly that no upfront fees can be charged for a timeshare resale.

One would almost think there is no such thing as a buyer waiting and they are just trying to get the money out of the consumer!

The address details of The Vacation Outlet are:

Camino de Coin, Poligono San Raphael, Las Lagunas 29650 Mijas Costa

Telephone +34 951 247 214 or Spanish Mobile +34 602 424 507

With this initial information we received, we found it enough reason to place an alert on the blog, as The Vacation Outlet is cold calling and clearly not working by the rules when requesting the upfront fee.

So if you have been called by The Vacation Outlet from 0034951247214 or 0034602424507  we would like to know.

I was called 2 days ago by a James Parr, using the number 0845 5577633.
His line was that Spanish taxation laws required that I make a payment of £900+ to the Spanish tax authorities. On my requesting their phone number he said he would send iit, but that converstaion in English would be impossible. He hasn`t sent the number, and I shan`t pay!

Have had a few calls from HOLIDAY EXCHANGE OUTLETS which after receiving their very bland email/letter happens to reside at the same address as VACATION OUTLET. Offering £20,000+ for 6000 diamond resort points if we send £1115 security fee as they have a russian buyer ready and waiting!!!! We wont be taking up their generous offer ………Just for info the caller was called “Kate” and the email we recd was sent by “Arlene Hicks”.

I received a phone cal yesterday, they called me back saying they had a buyer, I needed to pay €1400 by credit card (to make me feel that it was safe!) I said I was not going to hand over money over a phone call so email me so as I could look. Yes I got an email and a letter offering me a sum of money to buy. Put the address in the Internet and this has confirmed the scam!!!

  5. Margaret says:

Some weeks ago my parents were cold called by this company about a Club Atlantis membership they had. They paid a fee of 1395 euros up front and, I was unable to stop his payment but their bank has now blocked any further payments. They are now asking them to sign a contract and letter of authorisation, possibly to take more money from them.
