ASP Financial Group, calling on behalf of Holiday Lettings & Sales?

A new cold caller has been pointed out to us this week by the name of ASP Financial Group.

This is not just “another cold caller”, no this is a cold caller who actually holds very personal details of the consumers and even claim they have the right to do this.

The story from ASP Financial Group is that Holiday Lettings & Sales  has gone into receivership and now ASP Financial is dealing with their affairs and are completing the sales that are pending.

Of course ASP Financial has a client for the timeshare of the owner and all that is missing is a tax payment in order to complete the deal.

The tax payment requested is around the £1000!

This payment is not expected to be done the tax office, no; this payment is to be made in the name of ASP Financial to its bank account in Torremolinos on the Costa del Sol.

After doing the payment the consumer is kindly asked to confirm this with ASP Financial Group by phone on 0871 246 5611

ASP Financial Group SL seems to be using the following website – – a very basic designed website with only the homepage providing info on the company, but which does not contain any kind of contact details, i.e. business address, tel. number, etc. They only provide a contact e-mail: . Domain name registered in August 24th of 2012.

ASP Financial Group SL presents itself in the website as an Escrow and Fund Management company providing services to the Holiday Ownership Industry, nothing to do with the business sector in which it was registered last July with the Spanish Companies House – i.e. real estate construction company.

But in their paperwork they also refer the consumer to another website This website which is very basic, lacks a Company registration number and identification . There is no address, no companies’ house number, no nothing!

Question with above weird story is of course how far the relationship goes between Holiday lettings & Sales and ASP Financial Group? Are they linked or did ASP maybe get their hands on a client list from Holiday Lettings? In any case, both of them are NOT to be trusted and no payments should be made to any of them!

We cannot stress enough with all consumers that any payment for a resale, under whatever excuse this is requested, should not be done upfront and there is no tax payment in Spain for a timeshare resale!

Have you been called by ASP Financial Group from 08712465611 in Torremolinos?

Had a call from this morning re ASP Financial Group asking us to send £2910.10 for a time share transfer re tax. Was given a number to ring 0845 5577633 John Taylor left a message but has not called back. All seems a bit suspect to me and how did they get involved in the first place. Anyone had any luck getting any money from these people?
