Lately there seem to be a lot of “new” websites with surveys to fill in by timeshare owners in order to assess if they can enter a Class Action or Compensation Claim.
This time we have been pointed out the one from www.resortclaimsdirect.com
This website of Resort Claims Direct which was registered at the end of August supposedly by an administrator in the USA, offers no other information then a survey which looks very similar to the ones used by ITRA and Reclaimgc
One wonders if ever a consumer has been turned down after filling in the form, or do they all coincidentally fulfill the requirements to join these “actions” and “claims”?
Resort Claims Direct doesn’t give away a lot of information on their website, as there is no company registration at all, no address, no phone number, no nothing.
Would you trust a company that isn’t identified at all to handle a claim for you? Does that sound logical? Or is there another company hiding behind this “screen” and once the consumer has filled in the form they will call up and reveal their name?
Question arises, why not be upfront with this information if they are helping “thousands” of timeshare owners as described in the brief About Us section on the web?
Please be careful who you are dealing with and who you are sending your private details to. Because after filling in this form on www.resortclaimsdirect.com, who really lays their hands on your information?
The last question of the survey states “Do you give us approval to submit your details to the solicitors?”
Why would you give approval to a company that has no identification and will pass this to (unidentified) solicitors as well?
How many cold calls of dubious companies will there be after filling in a form on a web without identification?
If you have received an email or cold call from an agent inviting you to fill in the survey on www.resortclaimsdirect.com please let us know. You can send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or place a comment on the blog.
