Club Class & ITRA – International Timeshare Refund Action. Is it really their end?

Mr. David Hill an Investigation Supervisor with the Insolvency Service describes the practices of the seven Club Class companies wound up simply as a SCAM: “This action shows that The Insolvency Service will investigate and close down companies set up to SCAM the public” .

The Insolvency Service has left a door open for Club Class´ victims: “All public enquiries concerning the affairs of the companies should be made to: The Official Receiver, Public Interest Unit, 4 Abbey Orchard Street, London, SW1P 2HT. Telephone: 0207 637 1110 Email: . “

So now that the spotlight is on the seven companies wound up – i.e. Club Class Concierge Ltd; Bridge View Consultants Ltd; Club Class concierge plc, Club Class International plc, Club Class Holdings Ltd, Club Class Corporation plc, Club Class plc – and the direct implication of The International Timeshare Refund Action (ITRA), we urge consumers who have been victims of Club Class / ITRA to approach the British Authorities.

British Timeshare owners who ended up purchasing a very costly holiday club membership due to the sheer misrepresentation that took place at ITRA´s meetings, as citizens with consumer rights, and also as taxpayers, should approach the British Authorities and request to know what further actions they will be taking against the people behind these companies. Basically victims want their money back!

Suggested questions to ask the British Authorities, as a result of the London High Court ruling:

Will the British Authorities force the closing down of the following websites or at least prevent that British nationals could access to them from UK soil?

Will the British Authorities act against the company directors of the seven UK & Seychelles wound up companies?

Will the British Authorities take any formal legal action against ITRA – International Timeshare Refund Action – mentioned as an integral part of the seven Club Class wound up companies? Already UK ASA had been quite clear about ITRA´s misleading practices in January 2011 – .

ITRA officially operated at least until recently from offices located in Chester, Slough, Bristol and Lichfield (further info) – .

Will the litigation firm acting on behalf of ITRA in the UK drop them as a client? Will the British Authorities inform the litigation firm about the ruling?

Will the Official Receiver ask the law firm Edwin Coe LLP to stop acting on behalf of Club Class demanding UK nationals who purchased any Club Class Holiday Club Memberships to pay the outstanding money owed for their memberships?

Will the British Authorities request Club Class to stop requesting the payments for the due or overdue annual fees of Club Class Concierge or other Club Class Holiday Club Memberships?

Will the British Authorities act against the London accountancy firm Sochalls – – linked to Club Class for many years? Further info – .

Will the British Authorities coordinate efforts with the Gibraltarian Authorities to fix responsibilities of all the Club Class companies registered there?

If the British Authorities seriously think about truly closing down the whole Club Class group of companies, and save British nationals of falling into new Club Class schemes, they should concentrate now their energies on the following companies operating from British soil.     I got duped in teneriffe in 2015. I am currently paying off a loan with barclays partner finance at an astronomical rate. I also paid £2000 to itra who have done nothing except give excuses . Any advice anyone?

    please help I payed this company following a meeting in Chester last month I have no savings now and getting into debt, I am going to end up losing my home, all my savings from hard work and took me 10yrs to build up just gone I feel sick and even been signed of sick as this is making me ill please help to get some money back
    And need to still get rid of my timeshare

    We are owed £70.000 from a building scam in Spain, over nearly 10 yrs we have tried to get our money back, the Spanish solicitor has stopped contacting us, and ignores our emails, we need this money for our future, we are in considerable debt.

    itra – operating from stockport now, my parents been there and unfortunately handed over ownership certificates to them i think… where do they stand now.. as have lost thousands of pounds???

      If you attend any of the ITRA meetings where they tell you about the case they are pursuing against time share companies listen its when they start talking about getting rid of your timeshare is the time to leave,do not depart with any money we went to a ITRA meeting in slough in 2011 and ended being involved with CLUB CLASS International and its other companies, it cost us money not as much as a lot of other people we actually managed to get rid of our timeshare( not by them), they cost us a lot of time, effort, worry and extra money to pay for admin charges and our outstanding maintenance fees. to get rid of our timeshare.
      we are now in touch with the official liquidator and we are waiting to hear from them, they are sending paper work and will see what happens next. I have been told they are the only people that can help. will keep you up to date.

    Why did I not check this website before? ITRA has arranged for me to go to Malaga next week to meet with a notary for class action against the timeshare company I am with. It all seemed so good (as scams always do). I have decided not to go but have lost money on the flights I booked.
    So ITRA is still going strong and scamming people every day.

      having lost loads of money over timeshare over the years we went to a ITRA Meeting some time ago & we thought nothing was going to happen then we got the same call,went to Fuengirola,did some other stuff then paid a small deposit, came back home only to find out i’am not able to get the funds,ie a loan as they would not take a cedit card,now reading all the stuff on this website i now feel sick to death with it all,so now i’am waiting for a phone call asking for the rest of the money ? you did the right thing not going tony.

    I have been approched recently by a firm call ITRA claiming two things
    1. They are trying to sue the timeshare companies on the behalf of timeshare owners this service is free and they will take 40% of any refund/ settlement we get
    2. They also claim they saycan sell my timehare and points for a small fee of £5000.00
    I suspect this is yet another CON but i am desperate to get rid of my timeshare and points can anyone help.

      Hi Graham – you are correct in that Itra is a sc**! I’m sorry to say we got caught because, like lots of others, we’re ‘desperate’ to get shot of our timeshare because I lost my job due to ill-health and I’m unable to find a suitable role. So DON’T TOUCH THEM WITH A TEN FOOT BARGEPOLE!!

        Like you i’ve been scammed to the tune of £29,000. during my research to get rid of club la costa i came across a site@ Cancel Our Timeshare, turns out its ITRA. we went to slough and met with them, thats when we found out it was ITRA, we signed some paperwork on the basis of 60/40 no win no fee but pursing Barcalys for our money due to misrepresentation. Today 10/07/13 we had a call from ITRA stating they would fight £our case under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act , but to do this it would cost a £500 fee, is this just another scam?

        Hi Dino – I wouldn’t shell out any MORE MONEY if I were you: I reckon it’d just be throwing good money after bad. We TRIED the same as you trying to claim under Section 75 but, unfortunately, we paid it the same way as you did. We tried pursuing the Court route but they never acknowledged it. We did have difficulty finding an actual address which didn’t help? Obviously, it’s up to you if you want to try it? We’re like you desperate to get rid of the b______ thing – it’s like a chain round our neck and a bottomless pit!! We can’t afford to use it even because I’ve got very little money coming in now, although we could do with a holiday after what I’ve been through??

    We have just had a message left on our phone today november 7th from Club Class saying that they have not had our annual subscription for this year!! And that we won’t be able to use our membership until its paid. As if we would want to!

    Hi Alberto & Team. Just to let you know I have received a refund on my credit card regarding Club Class. It’s taken almost a year but I have got it at last. Also, I emailed Club Class stating we no longer wanted membership due to ill health. They have confirmed, in writing, cancellation of membership and that we are no longer liable for any maintenance fees or any other monetary payments. However, I did not receive any money/compensation from them. You can’t win them all I suppose!! Thank you for all the advice and help you have given us.

    Have just spoken with a member of staff at the Insolvency Service based in Croydon. The contact telephone number is 0208 667 8134 0r ext 8124.Quote Court Number 007599-2011 High Court of Justice.
    Regardless of whether you bought this worthless holiday club membership through Club Class PLC either in the UK or overseas, any such member can be classified as an unsecured creditor and make a claim for any monies lost. The official I spoke to said they were awaiting confirmation of the appointment of an Official Receiver-at which point the claimant requests a PROOF OF DEBT form.
    I am told that whatever paperwork has to be prepared in connection with the appointment of a RECEIVER is not yet ready and it might not be until October 19th that such information becomes available. My advice is to wait until the 19th before making any contact with the Croydon office.A huge thanks to Alberto and his team for their relentless campaign and also to the London law firm COBBETTS LLP for their role in undertaking the prosecution on behalf of the Dept of B.I.S

    i left my details with a company with a view to getting rid of my timeshare and was called back by mark warren of timeshare refund network who says he is confident of getting compensation and enable me to give back my 3 weeks timeshare .I can either go to gran Canaries with accommodation provided or pay £199.00 for a Rep to visit us at home . what do you think?

      you dont need to go over their when we were with club la costa all we did was to right them a letter just saying that we couldnt aford to pay the maintainace anymore and could we surender are points all you have to do is surrender your 3 weeks back to them they should take them of you has they will sell them to some one else you also have to send your certs signing them over to the company your with we had no problems with club la costa surrending are back to them

    Hi, could you tell me if I would be one of those that could look into getting my initial money back. I’d have to look but it was round £3000 or £5000 we got duped out of. Whilst in Grand Canaries 9 years ago, we were approached by club class and were shown websites that turned out to be fake, showing us what kind of hotels and holidays we could expect. Obviously this was all a big selling scam and left us with a membership we don’t want.

    If you think I may be able to get anything back could you advise me who I should contact as I am no longer in the UK I am not sure who I need to contact. Many thanks

      you have no chance getting your money back the only way to get rid of your membership is to surrender it back to club class we got duped by 10,000 and theirs no way we can get ares back the only way is if you paid with your credit card then you can get it back we did it on a bank tranfer so lost big style
