Have you been (cold) called by Trinity for a resale of your timeshare?

Cold caller Trinity is a new Timeshare Resale company that has started their cold call campaign recently.

Trinity cold calls timeshare consumers and as many other (dubious) resale’s they seem to have clients waiting in a queue to buy the weeks from the owners.

Trinity is based in Mallorca, but on their paperwork there is not really an office address as they give out a postbox for correspondence: Apartado de Correos 11001, 07010 Mallorca, Illes Balears, Spain

Their phone number doesn’t indicate either their exact location as they use a UK number: 0845 303 2794

There seems to be no website.

After the cold call, the timeshare owner receives a confirmation letter for the supposed resale. In this letter they are asked for an administration fee which is calculated based on a 15% of the sales price plus VAT. They insist that this needs to be paid before the money of the sale can be released to the timeshare owner!

The payment has to be done by bank transfer to a bank in Mallorca.

So we have a cold calling Resale Company called Trinity, with no office, no registration details, no website (so how do customers find them?), asking for an upfront fee which is illegal and requesting this to be done by bank transfer which is an unprotected payment method.

We sincerely think that Trinity should not be trusted and those who are contacted by Trinity should certainly NOT pay any money upfront for this dubious offer!

If you have been contacted by Trinity from 08453032794 and offered a resale, please let us know.

    Hi All,
Recived the excact same letter today in the post after a very genuine cold call. The letters must be just photo copies.
Avoid at all costs, this is a scam

  2. Solin says:

The company called me, to say that I had invested in a company many years ago and it had now matured, therefore was entitled to money back on my investment. They told me over £8,000 was owed to me. The letter came in the post today asking me to pay £ 1,474.69 in admin fees. I will not be paying this money, as I was ripped off over ten years ago when buying the time share in the first place. However I must add the representative that cold called me is very convincing and until I saw that they wanted me to pay money in order to receive the money, I did think that I would be getting money back on the money they duped me on all those years ago. Oh well you live and learn!!
