A new cold caller has been added to our list, Bon Accord International from Benalmadena in Spain.
Bon Accord cold calls timeshare consumers and they are very pleased to tell them they have actually a buyer lined up for their timeshare.
Bon Accord is based at Avenida Antonio Machado 435 Local 8, 29630 Benalmadena Costa, Malaga, Spain, Telephone 0845 527 1248 and Email bonaccordinternational@realtyagent.com
We have clear indications that this company is connected to other dubious resale companies that have been active in the past months.
They don’t seem to have a website, so it is a mystery how customers actually know what they have on sale!
But the sale seems to be happening as they also notify the timeshare owner that the buyer has paid already a 50% as a deposit and this money is transferred in to an Escrow account in the timeshare owner’s name. Wow!
All the timeshare owner need to do is to pay the legal fees of £95 plus VAT.
The sale is supposedly processed by a legal Advisor called Goldsmith based in Carrer de Sant Esteve 254, 0770 Sant Luis, Menorca, Balearic Islands, Spain. Contact number 08708 758 040 fax 08742 023 3126 and Email: goldsmithslegaladvisors@execs.com
Strangely enough, the registration numbers Goldsmith Legal Advisors mentions on their letterhead do not seem to exist and neither can this company be found in the Spanish Companies House.
After paying the legal fees the timeshare owner will receive the 50% of the sales price into his bank account. It is pointed out by Bon Accord International in the follow up email that this transfer can take up 3 to 4 days to show in the bank account.
After this, a consultant from Bon Accord International will be visiting the owner at his home to pick up the paperwork, and whilst there the rest amount of the sale will be transferred into the owners account, and this will take up only 15 minutes! How is that possible?
With the above findings, we feel there are enough reasons to ask consumers to be cautious when dealing with this company. The cold call, guaranteed sale, the upfront legal fees and the fact the Legal Advisors are not registered don’t seem to give a very trustworthy picture of this resale company.

Excalibar cold called me this morning claiming they had a buyer for my holiday club £7.500 be paid to me for it but wanted £1,500 up front refundable on completion on sale told them to take a hike.
Hi Alberto Again it seems very similar to La Loma Inversiones. Wonder if any connection.
Stan
Hi Stan,
The “modus operandi” looks familiar but for the moment no connections found with La Loma.
But we are researching of course!
Kind regards

Sounds just like the claptrap that ‘Excalibur sales & Marketing’ came out with on their cold call to me. “Money up front to provide a secure insurance binding buyer and seller into this definite sale, the money up front is fully refundable of course”……..!NOT!
You then find out that its a whole pack of lies and all you have bought is non refundable expensive advertising for a year!!!!
