First of all, our Best Wishes to all our readers for this New Year 2013!
A year has finished and a New One is on our doorstep. Looking back at 2012 we can say that we had a very good year, a very busy year and a very educational year.
Educational in the sense that throughout the year we have been able to improve our blog, launch the website and provide all kinds of information to consumers, thanks to the feedback received from everybody and the continues suggestions we receive from Timeshare Consumers.
The launch of our Website www.mindtimeshare.com in September 2012 was a big success and is now a vital part of our Social Media Tools we use to reach consumers and keep them informed.
One of the greatest News Items this year was though the Wound up of the 7 Club Class Companies by the BIS. This long awaited news did not come unexpected but still the impact with the consumers was very big. Thanks to this news a lot of consumers finally decided to start claiming a refund of the money paid, and we are very pleased to say that we are starting to hear the positive results of these claims.
We also launched our Monthly Cold Caller list which has been received by all our followers with great success. Each month you can find now an update of this list on both the website and blog. With a PDF version to print off for those who want to have the list at hand when receiving a cold call.
Mindtimeshare’s year 2012 in numbers is as follows:
In 2012 we have been dealing with over 4000 different consumers and we replied to over 8500 emails.
346 “New” Companies were brought to our attention and we published 332 blog articles which were mainly warnings about these companies.
A stunning 451.000 visitors entered our blog in the year 2012 which brings the average visits a day to 1236.
There are more than 8000 followers on Twitter and over 1100 followers of the blog directly.
Although these numbers look great, we do want more! Because the more people we reach, the more fraud and scams can be avoided!
Prevention is the key word, and the more people know about us, the more likely it is they will check with us first before falling into the trap of a bogus company.
If you have any suggestions on how we can improve our services and information to you as a Timeshare Consumer, please let us know! We need your feedback and we need to know from you what you are looking for.

Had a phone call from another new PIG Telling me that they have got me £30446.50 form m tax reclaim certificate and all I have to do is to pay the spanish 21% tax to the named notary offical £6393.76 I played them along to get more details, told them that I could not afford that amount so they reduced the amount to £2435.72 .They sent me forms to fill in and when they phoned me back the next day to make sure that I had received the forms I had pleasure in telling them what sc** bags they were woman on the phone was called NIAMH CHALMERS and company called D.L,F,(DEPARTEMENTO DE LIBERATION DEFONDOS DE MADRID)

I am currently making a claim under section 75 and am having to keep the pressure on with Tesco Finance It is now 10 months since I submitted my claim. I now have the Ombudsman on board as well.
Unfortunately I started this process before I found out about Mindtimeshare, so was not aware of any help or guidance you could give.
One thing is certain I will not give up, and will continue to press for a satisfactory outcome.
Although the process is timeconsuming, it is easier, as I am in control of what I am doing. Not sat in some office for hours at a time or listening to phone calls promising the earth.
Also I have nothing to lose and hopefully thousands to gain.
For information I first heard about the Section 75 possibility from MoneyExpert.com
Prior to that I had mentally written the loss off.

Has anyone heard of a company called aroma as they are offering an exit scheme from my timeshare,also at the end of last year i finally recovered all of my money from holiday lettings direct

Thank you for the latest info about the machinations of our entreprenurial friends on the Costa del Sol. It would appear there is no end to their inventiveness is there? Today (Jan 9) I was phoned around lunchtime 1 p.m. ( UK time) by an unnamed company who promised the earth as usual in the way of reparation. The number they were calling from was 0845 286 3922. Obviously a UK number with a well-spoken lady,-who only gave out the info, did not demand an immediate response.
