RIOCC gone with the wind or a strategic move to other offices with another name?

The latest news on RIOCC or Real Estate Investments Ownerships Consultancy Center is that they have closed their offices at the Avenida Alcalde Clemente Diaz Ruiz 6, 29640 Fuengirola, Malaga.

After almost a year, all off the sudden the offices appear empty and a big “FOR RENT” sign covers the windows.

RIOCC who has been actively cold calling Timeshare consumers in the UK, Holland and Belgium for a supposed compensation claim against their timeshare company and a disposal service is no longer there.

Question is of course where are they? Because, up till last week we have been receiving inquiries from consumers who were approached by them on a cold call.

And not only that, up till a couple of weeks ago we from Mindtimeshare have been receiving threats about legal action against us if we wouldn’t take the articles about RIOCC off the blog.

An office move is possible, but the question would be then why the website www.riocc.net appears to be “empty”. A simple office move would not incur the de-activation of a website and cutting off landlines…so where are they?

From all the numbers known to belong to RIOCC +34 952 58 11 52 is ringing out, +34 952 198 601 has an answering machine, +34 952 198 690 is no longer active and +34 952 460 245 rings out and no reply.

Oh dear! Because the next question will be what will happen with those consumers who have paid recently to RIOCC for the disposal service and have not yet received any reply from them. Where are their papers, what is happening to their case?

It is really sad in a way to see that once again a company with the usage of a “nice” website, articulated telemarketers and an official visit to the notary can make consumers believe they are disposing of their timeshare there and then.

Unfortunately this will not be the case with many consumers, and now with the staff gone from the offices, where does one complaint?

RIOCC a company that was created on the 17th of February 2012 by Jelle Jan Elkerbout and with appointed administrator Ronald Remco Derksen seems to have vanished.

Worst case scenario will be the fact that they are setting up a same company with a different name in another office “around the corner”.

We from Mindtimeshare will be on alert and we can say already that if this is the case, we will again make this public on our web and we will not let them intimidate us with legal actions and threats!

If you had any dealings with RIOCC and need help, please let us know.

  1. Davd & Gwen says:

We have had a phone call from Steven Hindmarsh at ZE consultancy saying he could get our money back from reclaim. He wanted to send a consultant (Dana) to our house, we made an appointment for next week but we are now going to cancel it. Luckily we did give our credit card number.
