Forget about the “SL” or what in the UK would be Ltd, as this company is not registered at all and does not exist. The Registration number they quote in their paperwork: B-86452585 does not exist either.
A Mr. Hans Rood working for Lopez Sancho cold calls and claims that they have a buyer for the Timeshare ownership.
On itself already a strange thing that a lawyer’s office is doing resales, but of course the sales price sounds reasonably good so what can you lose?
Hans Rood sends off documentation about the offer and an agreement to be signed.
In this agreement from Lopez Sancho it is made clear that the “Seller” has to pay an upfront fee calculated as a 9% of the sales price. This, as mentioned in the agreement, is according to the European Legislation.
Oh dear, Lawyers who are twisting around the legislation? A legislation which is very clear in this matter and bans all upfront fees from timeshare resale transactions?
Lopez Sancho Abogados also claims to be based in Madrid with the address in C/ Castelló 4 – 28001 Madrid. Unfortunately this address does not exist.
