A new cold caller has appeared by the name of CB & R Consultants allegedly based in Torremolinos on the Costa del Sol.
Another supposed Legal office that has been appointed to contact the victims of a Timeshare fraud, this time the “Castillo / Adams” case.
Obviously nobody has ever heard from the CASTILLO/ADAMS Case, but who cares? Because the agent from CB & R Consultants is calling with the good news that money has been awarded to the Timeshare owner through this court case.
How about that? You didn’t even know there was a court case! But the money is there, ready to be transferred into your account.
C.B. & R. Consultants sends a formal document after the initial cold call, where they explain that C B R & Consultants have been employed to deal with all the “affected persons” attached to the CASTILLO/ADAMS case and their acceptance will be needed by C B R & Consultants before this can be completed.
They also need a payment from around 10% of the awarded money, but what is an £800 charge if you are going to receive £8000 on your account?
The charge has to be paid by bank transfer.
