A new company has been brought to our attention under the name of Expedient Claims Management.
This company is a cold caller although they actually mention to have received the client details from another (dubious) company called Milestone Data
Milestone Data a cold calling company mentioned on our blog, actually tells the consumers they are not processing the claims directly and using a third party company so Expedient Claims Management must be one of these.
Expedient Claims Management offers the Timeshare consumer the service of claiming on their behalf against the timeshare company that has taken money from them.
It is not very clear in the paperwork if they are actually talking about a “court case” to claim or a claim under the Consumer Credit Act. They mention about fees for the court and the difficulties for No Win No Fees claims and then they jump onto the fact Consumers could do their own claim but it would be more time consuming.
What is clear in the paperwork is that Expedient Claims Management requires an upfront fee of around £600
Expedient Claims Management has a website http://www.expedientclaimsmanagement.co.uk/ which was registered in February 2013.
On the website there is a mention of a BVI Registration number BVI No. 5738392 which looks to us as a registration in the British Virgin Islands.
In spite of all the information on this web about the types of claims and who they are, there is no mention of an office address or location.

Neither do they display an address on the paperwork they send through by email after the initial call.
With the above information or lack of information we would certainly say that consumers who are cold called by Expedient Claims Management from 02035149296 should be cautious.
