One wonders if they are all the same people or if they all had the same idea, but yet again we have a company that supposedly are the liquidators of Reclaim.
MIVADA is the name of this company and as per their paperwork they say they are based at Calle Gerona 12 -3º, 04002 Almeria in Spain.
Telephone numbers; +34 950 700 717 Fax +34 950 950 707 and Email firstname.lastname@example.org
MIVADA cold calls timeshare consumers who hold a Reclaim Certificate and they explain that the company Reclaim has gone into liquidation and MIVADA has been appointed as the liquidators.
Money seems to have been recovered from the liquidation and set aside to be paid out to the numerous victims.
The consumer is asked to fill in and forward the necessary documents along with the Reclaim certificate. Once the paperwork has been forwarded to the courts the consumer receives a call about a week later to inform me that he is awarded around 65% of the monies on his reclaim certificate and the money will be deposited into his bank account. All great news so far.
But when they are about to pay out this money a small “hiccup” appears as the Timeshare Consumer needs to provide a Tax Registration Number or NIE. As explained by MIVADA this number is needed for any individual with “investment assets” in Spain. So MIVADA is telling the consumer that a Reclaim Certificate is an investment asset? That is a new one!
Of course MIVADA offers help and apart from sending the Timeshare consumer a 32 page boring Spanish Tax Guide they also offer to obtain this number on behalf of the consumer for a fee that is of course!
Consumers, who explained they couldn’t pay any money out due to be pensioners, were informed they could obtain a special discounted pensioner number. Yet again a complete invention of MIVADA!
Needless to say that this company does not exist, there is no liquidator appointed and no money is waiting to be transferred to your account.
