Apex Asia Property Investors has started cold calling timeshare consumers with an offer to dispose of their timeshare.
Apex Asia makes it appear they are not cold calling and claim to have spoken to the consumer “months ago” but most consumers do not recall this conversation at all nor the name of Apex Asia.
The offer is connected to an investment into the 5 Star Luxury Hotel Lakeside Phuket by Yoo.
With a minimum of £14.950 investment the consumer is assured they will dispose of his timeshare and on top he will have revenue from the investment.
Those consumers who are not keen on making any investment are straight away offered a disposal service for around £4500 per week owned.
Doing some research on Apex Asia Property Investors Ltd we can see they are registered in the UK Companies House since 07/02/2011
Their address is 104 Calverley Road – Tumbridge Wells – Kent
Contact number: 01892 538 889
The company Director David Cooper is also registered as Director of another 41 companies all related to Apex and Yoo Phuket.
Other companies such as Apex Fractional Properties Ltd and Apex Overseas Ltd were active in 2011. They would cold call Timeshare consumers as well and invite them to meetings to discuss Timeshare Disposal but in the end these meetings were as well about investments in Asia.
The responsible people behind these companies were also connected to certain developers that never finalized the projects in Asia leaving numerous victims behind.

We would like to make clear that we are not against investments or projects in Asia. The only thing we are in a doubt about is the way these investments are commercialized through cold calls and disposal offers. Neither do we want to ignore the dubious history of these kinds of offers.
