Yes, another one on the list! The name that is given out on the cold call is CALDERA and they claim to be liquidators based in Almeria.
Similar story to the other liquidators present on this blog, “Your Timeshare or Cash back company has gone into liquidation, and money has been awarded to the victims”
The address and contact details from CALDERA are as follows:
Calle Navarro Rodrigo 30 Almeria 04001
Telephone (0034) 950 70 01 17 Fax (0034)950 95 07 07 and e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
One of the agents calling is Angela Collins.
After the initial cold call CALDERA requests the relevant paperwork from the Timeshare owner, and then they will get back to him to explain when he will receive the money which approximately will take a couple of days.
But, yet again there is a small issue to be solved prior to receiving the money. The Timeshare owner needs a fiscal number before the Central Bank will release the money.
Not to worry though as CALDERA has the solution! They give three options;
1) To go to Spain and apply in person standing in a queue at 5 o’clock in the morning and get an emergency tax number. With this he can fill in the form and take it to the relevant authorities.
2) CALDERA will do it for the timeshare owner and he will get a bill for the tax due to be paid before the release of the money
3) The timeshare owner can start a new claim by which the bank would return the money and this time other creditors could make a claim so there would be a chance the Timeshare owner would not get as much money.
Obviously 99% of the Timeshare owners would go for option 2.
We can assure you that CALDERA is not a real company. They are NOT REGISTERED at the Spanish Companies House and neither has there been any liquidation of a company with assets to be divided up between victims. Last but not least, you would not need a tax number for this.
