FHC Group, a German COLD CALLING Travel agent who sells Timeshare.

A new cold caller has been brought to our attention this week, by the name of FHC Group.

FHC Group cold calls mainly British Timeshare owners and claims to have buyers lined up for their timeshare.

In order to secure this sale the Timeshare Owner has to pay an upfront deposit. They assure though that the money will go into a Third Party Escrow Account in order to protect the payment.

Where ever the money would go, it is still an upfront fee and FHC Group should be aware that this is against the current Timeshare Directive.

The website of FHC Group is http://www.fhc-group.net/ and was registered on the 23rd of June 2013

A very recent registration, which puts a question mark against their statement to be “the number one leading timeshare reseller at the moment”.

On the website it is all about Travel, although there are no offers of any actual hotels or accommodation or anything related to Travel. Neither is there any display of the timeshares they are supposedly selling.

Their office address is in Germany; RosenbergstraBe, Stuttgart, Baden-wurttemberg, 70174, Germany

But their contact number is actually an English number: 0845 5420123

No email address, no company identification or registration, no terms and conditions. Neither is the website available in another language such as German.

Cold calling resale companies such as FHC Group that offer guaranteed resales for a timeshare against an upfront payment are not recommended.

If you have been cold called by FHC Group from 08455420123 in Germany then please let us know.

I was called yesterday by a company I thought was “SHC” but could well have been FHC. They told me that they were doing a promotion of timeshares for sale in the Canaries and was I still looking to sell mine as it had been registered as ‘for sale’ for some time. When I questioned if they had been previously known by another name, as I had not registered my property for sale with a company of this name, I was told they had always been known as FHC/SHC as it represented the company owners initials! They didn’t confirm anything else but I suspect I may get a call soon telling me they have found a buyer! As I haven’t put my property for sale with these people (but have with a TATOC accredited company) I will be very cautious! They may not even re-call me as I obviously sounded very suspicious of them in the first place! Goodness knows where they got my mobile no from, and they came up as ‘unknown number’ on my phone. Be careful people!

I have just been contacted by FHC claiming they have a purchaser for my timeshare and have offered to buy !!!, so far no request for a deposit form myself, however I have stated that I will not pay anything upfront to sell, so watch this space.

Have been called by this FMC company and as you state they had a client willing to buy ,with a supposed payment (deposit) made the balance to be forthcoming in approx 6-8weeks the buyers were German a deposit was asked 1295 pounds which was to be returned at the point of sale . If no sale was made the money paid by our side would then be held over until the next client of theirs puts a deposit down it could go on for ages considering the sorrowful state the timeshare market is
