Property Designed Solutions or PDS a cold calling Timeshare re-seller.

New cold caller Property Designed Solutions has started recently their call campaign to Timeshare owners who are trying to sell their ownership.

After a first initial call, very soon afterwards a guaranteed buyer shows up and is even putting down a deposit to make sure the timeshare will be theirs.

In order to proceed with this secured sale, PDS or Property Designed Solutions needs to take a “refundable” liability Insurance Deposit of £850 from the Timeshare owner.

This deposit will be charged through a “Holding Company” who will keep the deposit and release this as soon as the sale has been processed.

Property Designed Solutions has a website http://www.propertydesigned.co.uk/ which was created in May 2013. There are no timeshare properties for sale displayed on the web.

We could not find any company registered at the UK Companies House under the name of Property Designed Solutions

In spite of claiming they have over 10 years’ experience in Timeshare resales they don’t seem to be aware of the current Timeshare Directive where it is clearly stipulated that NO upfront deposits should be requested for a timeshare resale.

Paying through a “Holding Account” supposes in most occasions that the charge is made under a different name. This turns out to be a problem when trying to claim a refund under the Consumer Act as the bank will require the proof that both companies are connected or refuse the refund.

With the above information we do not recommend this company.

PDS are not at the address given in Coventry and the telephone no. has been suspended.
Correspondence sent to them last December has been returned to me by Royal Mail.
