Sometimes companies can set up a complicated scenario in order to confuse consumers even more. This is certainly the case with the cold caller City Financial Services from London.
City Financial Services call from 0203 397 8259 which is a London telephone number. They explain to the timeshare consumers on the line that the Court in Malaga (Spain) has convicted the bogus resale company with who the consumer had been dealing recently.
Most incredible is that not only will the Timeshare consumer get back the money paid as a deposit for the sale, but also the promised resale price!
The agent from City Financial Services explains in detail how the court has acted and how accounts have been closed from the bogus company. And all they need to do is double check everything is in order and the cheque for the promised amount of money will be couriered over straight away!
But things are never as easy as they sound…
After a couple of days the timeshare consumer is contacted again with the bad news that it has come to light that he never paid the solicitor fees of around £600 and therefore the cheque with the thousands of pounds has been blocked until further notice..
But this can be solved straight away of course, if only the timeshare consumer pays this outstanding bill.
Payment should be done to the Spanish Solicitor Simon Hugh Vale from Castillo & Vale, solicitors.
Their address is Playa Picasso 4, 29640, Malaga and telephone: 0034 602 465 548
As per the agent of City Financial Services, the securest way would be a “person to person” payment through the post office in name of Simon Hugh Vale. Securest or less protected? They even explain to the consumer that by indicating on the payment that this is a “private” operation, the consumer will be able to avoid the 21% VAT from Spain.
How’s that for a good tip?
Please note that the above mentioned companies City Financial Services and Castillo & Vale Solicitors do not seem to be registered in UK nor Spain. There is no such thing as a court case against a bogus resale, where money has been recovered not only from the illegal deposits but also from a resale.
Paying to the “solicitor” Simon Hugh Vale through a Money Gram would certainly mean you would lose all the money!
If you have been contacted by City Financial Services from 020339 8259 or Mr. Vale from 0034 602465548 then please let us know.
