With 108 active companies of which 26 new ones detected in September, we are convinced everybody is “back from holidays”.
Please be careful when you are cold called by any company with offers regarding your timeshare and even more if there are upfront payments involved.
The stories are becoming more and more “credible”, and if a couple of years ago the cold calls were all about Timeshare resales now this is only a small part of all the services offered through the phone. There are Legal offices, Claims Companies, Notaries, Liquidators..you name it and you can find one on the cold caller list.
So don’t lose guard when receiving a cold call, don’t take anyone’s word for granted and always thoroughly research before paying a penny to these cold callers.

The sooner we know about them, the quicker we can warn other consumers and avoid people falling into these traps. Your help and information is very important, to us and to other Timeshare users!

them but would like info on them, they said they would ring back, regarding timeshare and club class. but so far no one has, already been taken badly for a ride, key properties, and ramires ramires,

Select Vacations Tenerife are now operating out of the ORA vacations and Gulliver travels offices in Tenerife. They are selling the holiday clubs and taking deposits on the day. I paid £500 trying to get my money back through the credit card company although as they used paypal, the credit card company are saying they are not liable .
Hi, I have just returned from Tenerife and it appears I too have been scammed. I paid £500 cash deposit with the balance of £3436 due on the 15.3.14 ( which i haven’t paid yet). It all seemed really genuine but afterwards i started to have my doubts. I know want to cancel the deal and get my money back but doubt i’ll have much luck. Did you get any joy or find out any more information about this company and whether it is really dodgy
We have just returned from our ‘VIP week’ in Tenerife (Costa Adeje), after purchasing credits with Select Vacations during our New Year break. Won’t bore you with the long story – but the VIP accomodation was not at all like the one we expected and so we complained in person and requested compensation for the change in accomodation that we paid for ourselves – along with our money back. Not surprised to be on the end of more broken promises and I would like to ask if there is a professional organisation out there who can genuinely assist in getting a refund & compensation?
Just been cold call contacted by CLA Marketing wanting to get me out of my present timeshare contract or seek compensation or redress for mis-selling. A lady called Charlotte.
I have just been called by a Scottish man who gave his name as Robert Campbell from TCI Ltd
which stands for Travel Connect Insolvency from Casemates Gibralter. 02071833531
He states that for paying a Spanish Court Filing Fee he will get money back paid out for our DWVC holiday club scam. I would have to pay around £300 for this service and their fees are 10% no win no fee set up. Sounds another dodgy set up to get money up front by calling it something else. Anyone else know of this company. He seems very insistent.
I was contacted by Cotswold Timeshare Resale, and a man came out to my house to see me, he told me he could get me out of my timeshare for the amount of £3000.00. So i said to him you must be joking i am not paying that amount of money to you. He tried to scare me, by telling me that they would take me to court if i do not pay my maintence fees, well i will take that chance. These compainies are just a scam.
Has anyone been ****** by a company calling themselves Extra- Time -On Line.
I have been contacted today by Lisa Brooks of Fast Line Legal saying they are prosecuting scam companies and that they are based in Malaga. The company who initially took my deposit was called Regal Consultants based in Kent.
URGENT
I was contacted (cold called) by RCS Ltd (www.rcsltd.net) with an address of 152 City Road, Hackney, London, EC1 2NX who seemed to know all my circumstances and offered the services of an expert in getting my monies back. Interested I made an appointment for tomorrow at 10 am
The address area lead me to further suspicions concerning a company who swindled me last year by the name of ‘National Claims Group’ who unknown by me at the time until I checked my credit card deposit and found it had been paid into the account of a “Kyriakides Charalambos of Larnaca, Cyprus ( your email to me of 2nd March 2012) and NOT “National Claims Group” when queried they disappeared shortly afterwards after telling me that they were their ‘solicitors’!
