A new website www.timesharerelease.co.uk has been spotted and this website seems another one set up by ITRA the International Timeshare Refund Action.
On the website they present themselves as Experts in UK & International Timeshare Dispute Resolution & Contract Release.
“The Timeshare Release Team has already helped over 3000 people throughout the UK ….”
That is a lot of people for a website which was only registered in October 2013. Obviously they must refer to ITRA but then still we have serious doubts if they really “helped” these consumers.
The contact details on the web are 0800 772 0247 or 01753 360215.
They also use the number 0800 058 8503
They mention there are several offices in the UK, Langley, Manchester and Exeter, in Spain close to Marbella and also in Singapore.
Unfortunately we do know about these ITRA offices due to the numerous complaints received from concerned Timeshare owners who went to their meetings and ended up paying thousands of Pounds for the Timeshare “release”. A release/disposal which in many occasions has not happened at all. But neither has their money been refunded nor the Title Deeds returned to them.
Before deciding to attend any of these meetings maybe you should read about the experiences from consumers who went before you, through the link to our blog: https://mindtimeshare.me/?s=ITRA+MEETING
If you have been in contact with Timeshare Release, then please let us know.

Im getting fed up of this company. They keep phoning my mobile number asking for a mrs nicholson which i am not. After asking them politely to update their records and not phone me again each time the 4th time the guy was extremely rude and realising i was upset was reluctant to even tell me what company he was phoning from. After explaining and asking to speak to his manager he refused and just gave me one of the numbers above to phone and hung up. I think it is verging on harrassment now.
Had a call from timeshare Release today. It all sounded very helpful and then I looked up the MTS site.Said they are based in Slough. Had a offer to go there once before but found they were associated to ITRA No thank you I’ve had enough of them.
This is what happened to me today;
Dear Sarah Jane and Timeshare Release.
Please forward this e mail to a person in authority who can deal with it quickly.
Following my enquiry to yourselves and then numerous chasing calls from you when I was working, you eventually confirmed the appointment below with your consultant. I had to take a day away from business to manage this as you could not fit in with our timescales. You then treated me like a complete fool, chased me again, called to check I had received the e mail and then called again to check I understood the e mail and the list of requirements and that we would be attending your appointment. All of which I confirmed.
Today my husband (who is in his seventies and not well) and I arrived at the office below at 12.50. We checked in with both reception and the guy standing at reception and were asked to take a seat under the stairs with a pile of deliveries (hardly salubrious). Despite having the appointment at 13.00 (which you had confirmed multiple times) no one came near us, offered a glass of water or coffee so at 13.22 I called your office to discover what was happening only to be interrupted by a man who appeared with a phone and said he was delayed by his last appointment and that no one had told him we had arrived. I explained we had travelled, from North Norfolk, for 2.5 hrs to make the arranged time at which point he shouted at me that he had travelled for 4 hrs to get there (he gets paid for this and I am the customer here). I tried to ascertain how much longer he would be as we had the long journey home, he wouldn’t listen and then told us to go and stormed out. He was a particularly irate and unprofessional individual.
We returned to our car and called your office and were then offered alternative appointments in Heathrow or Birmingham even though I said we live in Stiffkey, North Norfolk and were currently in Northampton. The office then asked ‘what do you want us to do?’ not offering any sensible outcome. Having finished that call with no result, the phone rang again (a London number) with a female asking why we weren’t at our appointment and ‘were we lost’. I again explained what had happened and she said to wait where we were and she would call me back. We waited other 15 minutes, she didn’t call and so we came home – which took us 3 hours.
Your company have wasted a day of my life which can never be reclaimed. This trip has cost me 240 miles@ 50p = £120 plus loss of earnings . You caused stress and anxiety, my husband could have been recuperating at home but you insisted he attend as well as me and all to no avail. Instead we were treated to a highly unprofessional experience in a very poor office environment. There was no interest in the concept of ‘customer’ whatsoever.
We had the offer and acceptance of a contract to meet and your company broke this contract. I am therefore seeking recompense, for time wasted and costs incurred, or I will take this to trading standards and the ombudsman. In the meantime I will make social media and the press absolutely aware of the scam you are pulling in wasting the time and money of people who do not deserve to be treated in this way. Your customer service has been abysmal and I, for one, will not let you get away with it. Your focus may be on ‘making a fast buck’ from the current legal situation but you can’t do that without customers.
Looks as though Timeshare Release are doing another round of phone calls… New number 02081669881, same spin about class action against Timeshare Industry and you may qualify because of miss-selling in the past.
If it’s on a no win no fee basis, why are they asking for an upfront fee & of so much?
They’ve contacted me & I was sold on the idea of seeing a consultant for free as an introduction to discuss & I’ve booked an appointment… which I think I’ll be cancelling after these reviews…
Thanks to all for sharing.
I have been contacted by timeshare release wanting a meeting in Northampton. Having done a very small amount of research it seems obvious this is one to miss.
I went to a meeting in Portugal and experienced the same load of rubbish!!! They promised ‘no win- no fee’ yet wanted me to spend money. Also they wouldn’t deal with me alone. I had stacks of info which I took with me but they weren’t interested in any of it and got a bit miffed when I refused to listen to their speil…
I went to a meeting in Dartford and signed some papers, the man said that Timeshare release will rid us of the timeshare and also told me that we will get back all the money we paid. In order for this to happen we have to pay £4500 to proceed. He gave us specific details for an Escrow account that we must pay the money into. We have not paid yet, but we have signed lots of documents and are worried what mess we have got ourselves into. He said next steps would be to visit a lawyer to do notary signing.
Can you give me some advice please.
Very interesting I went for a meeting in Brentford Essex, the person I saw was very persistent and it was evident he saw £ signs. He stated it was not like PPI no win no fee, he was expecting us to part with £4850. I did not feel comfortable about the fact that you had to pay out a substantial amount of money, with no guarantee of how much you will get. I did not have the money and stated I will speak to my bank Manager. They wanted the money the same day, I was not happy with this and stated before the cooling off the period, that could not afford it. They started sent me a letter stating that I would have to pay x amount if I want to opt out. I have since got my Solicitor to write to them and email, and surprise surprise they have gone under cover. All I can say is do your homework, if you cannot find any reviews on the company, something is clearly wrong. I am just looking at the next legal step, they are obviously a bogus company, and have sent up again it appears.
I went to a meeting in Dartford and signed some papers, the man said that Timeshare release will rid us of the timeshare and also told me that we will get back all the money we paid. In order for this to happen we have to pay £5690 to proceed. After I signed the paperwork, the man was not very clear about things, and was very vague about how things will proceed. I asked for his business card before I left, but he said that he is not allowed to give business cards, as this is against the rules of the contract. Can you give me some advice please.
Jo, has your situation been resolved? I’m a bit concerned now because we are in the same boat.
We have received a telephone call at 10.23 this morning. A message was left as follows: ‘Good morning, my name is Larry, I am calling on behalf of Timeshare Release. We have put together a no win, no fee action lawsuit against the Timeshare Industry. If you have had any problems with your timeshare ownership and would like some information on the claim please call on freephone 0800 0588503 and ask for Larry’. The original telephone number that he called on was 020 3519 2338. Needless to say, we will certainly not be ringing. In fact the voice of Larry sounded very much like someone who has called before!
They told me it was ‘no win no fee’ but couldn’t provide any meaningful information via e-mail (despite what they promised on the phone) so I haven’t bothered booking one of their ‘meetings’ (more likely sales pitches I suspect) and this is what eventually led me to this site. Their insistent phone calls immediately made me suspicious and they remind me of a Club La Costa salesperson. Obviously the irony is lost on them. Why would you pay £5000 David W without any guarantees? Fake!
Has anyone dealt with Holiday Opportunities UK Ltd they are also offering to release time share owners.?
A very curious report by David.W. The farce is that if the timeshare holding was Club Class which is part of the same group of dodgy operators as ITRA then he has paid the same company to get him out of the same company he bought into and the villains are protected by a facade of legality. The Daily Mirror recently reported a similar “success” story of getting out of a timeshare apparently not realising the incestuous corporate relationship.
We went to one of these presentations “load of crap” when I questioned them I was removed their excuse “they did not buy”” Radisson Malta”” please advise all that Tony Hetherington has posted in his” Mail On Sunday column” to avoid this company as “co***** people ” and is monitoring them
We went to a meeting in December that we booked via the Timeshare Release website at the ITRA offices near Slough. We found the meeting helpful and informative. We are very keen to get out of timeshare as we wish to retire and cannot afford the fees going forwards. In total we paid a sum of £5,000 in two payments. All the paperwork completed quickly and we are finally rid of our no longer wanted timeshare. I am not certain why there are so many negative comments on this site. Does anyone know who Mindtimeshare are and who funds them? Timeshare is a murky world, full stop.
do you work for timesharerelease
I would think that the fact you had to pay out so much money would be proof enough that they swindled you. I have booked a meeting with this company, not to resell, but to make a claim. After reading reviews, I won’t be going ahead with it.
