Gold Crown Solutions the cold calling Timeshare Disposal Company


We received a couple inquiries this week about a company called Gold Crown Solutions.

This company apparently is cold calling Timeshare Owners and offering a disposal service for their timeshare membership.

We have done a bit of research on the company and found the following information:

The website of Gold Crown Solutions: was registered in November 2013.

On the website there is no mention of a physical address or location of the company. The fact they use a UK contact number 0203 1373 240 does not always mean they are actually based in the UK.

Their email address is

On the website itself they explain how experienced they are and there is a mention of the fees they charge for the different services they offer. These fees have to be paid up front.

So far we have no bad or good feedback about this company, but obviously between the fact they cold call, the lack of any company information and the need to pay upfront we would certainly recommend to be cautious when dealing with this company.

    We received a call from Gold Crown Solutions saying that they had taken over our claim of miss selling against Diamond Resorts and secured a financial settlement and wanted to pay us a share. I can find nothing about this company and I have not heard from them before. Is this a reputable company or yet another scam.

    i have been contacted by a kevin hewitt who says he will get me out of my diamond resorts contract. No payment upfront just payment of around £3500 when i receive an email from Diamond resorts stating that i am no longer under contract. Sounds too good to be true but am going ahead and wont be paying anything until i speak to diamond and they confirm i am out of contract with them. Has anyone used his services and are now free of this dreadful company.

    I was approached in April by a lady calling herself Beverley Clarke on behalf of Gold Crown Solutions ,I too paid £799 and was assured that they could release me from Macdonalds resorts, I own two weeks in Spain and am now unable to fly. I did inform her that we were in our eighties and specifically asked if this was a scam,she was so reassuring that I did pay her the £799 which was transferred into euros and actually cost me over £820. She even had the audacity to say that she had elderly parents and would not be involved in any type of fraud especially from older people, she was so plausible that I fell for it. I cannot contact them at present. Where do we go from here?

    My neighbour has had dealings with Gold Crown Solutions, although I tried to tell him I thought they were dubious. He parted with £1100 for them to embark on their section 75 nonsense. After three months of constant check up phone calls from my neighbour – where he was assured they dealing with it and it would be completed by the end of June nothing happened. Around a week ago Gold Crown dispensed of both contact phone numbers, resulting in a ‘dead line’. As there was no other way for him to communicate with them except email – which they of course ignored. I decided to try to trap them and responded on the contact form on the Gold Crown site, by pretending I needed help with a timeshare (I don’t own one thank goodness) – from doing this I am now getting endless calls from Lets Go Tenerife, and Esrella Vacations which I do not answer, but no contact from Gold Crown Solutions themselves as yet. What can be done to stop these people?

    The latest name for Gold Crown Solutions is Debra Hubbard and you are all correct this is a very plausible s*** I was quoted 799 and she could talk the hind leg off a donkey, I said that I would get back to her after checking up on her company and she was quite happy with this. I think that she thought that she had persuaded me that she was genuine But it is a S*** leave it alone.

    We have recently been contacted by Gold Crown Solutions but i explained that if it was possible to claim the money back under section 75 then i would do it myself. I did ask about an upfront fee if i changed my mind and she said that it would be £595. I declined the offer at the time so that i could do some investigating myself. Then on Monday i received another phone call from them so i asked them to email me their details. She explained that they had been in the buisiness for 10
    years and that if they were a scam they would not have been trading for that long a time. After reading the email they sent i have replied as we bought our membership back in 2003 and therefore not entitled to a refund under the Consumer Credit Act 1975. I will just have to wait and see what else they come up with. My advice is to always check these companies out on the web and don’t be fooled by them. We have been scammed enough times to recognise the signs.

      When we told Gold Crown Solutions that we cannot use their services , Jade Smythe slamed down the phone immediately, so you guys be careful out there….seems too good to believe, so if you have used your timeshare , treat the accommodation like hotel costs paid and not be scammed out of more money.

    Anyone out there who own weeks in the former Lanzarote Beach Club (the last we heard it is called Sands Hotel) which was expelled from the external exchange organisation – Interval International? Jade Smythe of Crown Solutions phoned twice, guaranteed she can approach our credit card company under Section 75 of Consumer Acts to retrieve our purchase price, even though we stopped paying the yearly maintenance fee of some £450 for 2 weeks since 2001 to LBC because we cannot use our weeks for external exchange which was our sole aim for the purchase of the timeshare, but to pay upfront fee of £799 to Crown Solutions seems like throwing good money after bad, so I would check Crown Solutions with the fraud dept. of your credit card company before giving out payment to them. I am concerned for those unsuspecting people who cannot afford to lose any more money to scams.

    Gold Crown Solutions contacted me on Monday and asked if I would be interested in a call back about getting rid of my timeshare. I asked if there was a charge, and they could give me no details, but someone would call next day. They did- I had 8 missed calls. When I picked up today, Jade Smythe (02031375860 )told me how it worked, that GCS do all the work, the resorts all know the power of GCS, are familiar with their letters and the process, which could go as far as court if resort didn’t relinquish, but it wouldn’t normally come to that. And the upfront fee £599. I asked about myself approaching CLC or using my own lawyer. She said that going direct to CLC, I would be charged 10 years maintenance to relinquish, and my lawyer would not have enough timeshare knowledge. She sent email with link and phone number 0203 137 3240. She said would call back Monday.
    Three hours later, I had a call from 02034752283, and a male launched into spiel about getting rid of my timeshare. I interrupted and asked which company he said he was calling from, and he said that he hadn’t, but if I wanted to know, it was Gold Crown Solutions. Questioning why and how they could be making call to me when agreement had been made earlier, he said that system must not have been updated, and yes he thought he knew ‘Jude; who had sent my email. If I had been considering it before, I would certainly have doubts now.
    Anyone else have an update on this organisation?

    I have also been contacted by Gold crown solutions ( Nathan Clarke) wanting £599 up front for trying to get my time share money back under section 75. He also gave me his post code and address they do not match up according to the royal mail directly. He also said that his company is registered at company house, but anyone paying £12.99 can register a LTD company.

    I have had an email from Gold Crown Solutions stating they will use sectioon 75 of the consumers act to get our timeshare relinquished. Her name was Jade Smythe and she is very convincing and states that if i pay using my credit card if they fail to do as they say i can be refunded by the credit card company. They want £599 upfront to start my case. Are they legitimate? She is calling back next Wednesday as i told her i was going to investigate further which she encourage me to do? She says they are based in London. Has anyone successfully used these people?

    I’ve been contacted by Gold Crown Solutions; they are offering to relinquish my points through section 75 which is apparently recognised by the Timeshare companies and if I pay by credit card; I’m covered for up to 6 years but her service will only take 6-8 weeks. Why do I have to pay up front? Why don’t you bill me when the relinquishment is complete? After Gold Crown submit the relinquishment documents, the Timeshare company deals directly with me that’s why they need up front payment.

    It all sounds good, I was concerned they didn’t have complete contact details like an address on the website; I asked Deborah about it; she basically said she doesn’t want angry people visiting her offices and intimidating her staff. The thing is they are owned apparently by a Spanish company called Impact Services. Using Google translator the infocif, which is the Spanish equivalent of companies House states that Impact Services have very incomplete information; no phone number provided, no description of activities, company not audited and some other things I don’t understand. It simply doesn’t look or sound genuine. But of course Deborah blows her trumpet that they are legitimate; although I would love to relinquish my points I’m simply not convinced by the offer.

    Following a cold telephone call from a third party, I have had a follow up visit from a Kevin Hewitt who says he owns a company called Synergy based in Malta. Kevin claims to have found a way that we can relinquish our timeshare ownership in Orlando Florida without any upfront payments, his company completes all the paperwork and upon receipt of a conformation letter from the timeshare company we pay him £4250.00 this takes about 6-8 weeks to complete. Has anyone heard of this company and what is the catch? Brian

    Timeshare industry is well known for being very vulnerable to scams; consequently, vacationers and timeshare owners should be aware of timeshare investments, phony offers to rent or resell timeshares or practically anything that sounds too good to be true.

    I was also contacted by Gold Crown Solutions. With regards to my grandfathers timeshare. My grandpartents had 2 weeks with the hollywood mirage (silverpoint). My grand mother died last year leaving my grandfather (who has alzheimer’s) on his own. Since then he hasnt paid the maintenance on the weeks. We are lloking to get rid of them as they are no use to him. Gold Crown contacted him out of the blue, he told them to speak to myself, and said they can relinquish his time share for a fee of £799 up front on a credit card payment.

    I am very skeptical about this. i wouldnt normally deal with these companies, however my grandfather keeps getting letter regarding the outstanding maintenace he owes.
    We want to dispose of the timeshare but cant see any other option.

    This morning I was cold called by Vicky of Gold Crown Solutions re disposal of my interests in
    DWVC. She asked for details and if I had a cash back certificate. I told her I had the certificate
    but that I could not provide details of my initial payment to DWVC to hand. I also mentoned Club Class and she said she could deal with this also. She said she would phone me back on Monday 20th for my details. I asked for her company details and she said Gold Crown Solutions – from London , with offices in Tenerefe and Malaga . She gave me a phone number of 02031373249.
    She finished by saying she would call me at 11.00 am on Monday.

      Both my wife and myself have been contacted by a very persistent person from, here name was Jade Smythe she kept quoting Section 75 of some act where we could claim our monies back?
      I asked her where she acquired our details from, she said Timeshare companies sell their lists to anybody who will pay them, sounds very suspect to me, probably a xxxx of some description. Have not got the time or interest in people who want money upfront for a service they may/will not provide!
