Peters & Khan, the cold calling Acquisitions and Litigations PLC.

WARNING2

An official sounding name for a cold caller; Peters & Khan Acquisitions and Litigations PLC.

This company cold calls Holiday Ownership members and as many others, claim to have been appointed by Spanish Courts to liaise with victims of certain Holiday Companies such as Freedom Vacation network.

Peters & Khan claims that a court case has taken place and the holiday company in question has been liquidated. Money has been awarded to the victims, but there seems to be an outstanding tax bill which needs to be paid prior to receiving the awarded money.

Peters & Khan Acquisitions and Litigations PLC is based at Suite 27, floor 2,Haynes Court, Slewing Court,Hornchurch,Essex,RM11 2DE, United Kingdom. Telephone: 0845 862 1429 and peterkhan.admin@weekonline.com

Peters & Khan send the Holiday Ownership member a confirmation email after the phone call, with a breakdown of the costs involved in this process.

The member is promised around £10.000 but the tax bill is €1500. They do point out though that the main part of this money is actually paid back through a tax rebate which is payable in 14 – 21 working days.

As Peters & Khan are only “intermediates” they even offer several options to the member in order to settle the account.

Option 1 would be for the member to travel to Spain and arrange all through the Spanish tax offices directly. They do point out though that this would incur further costs of translation of the documents.

Option 2 though seems to be the more sensible one, and that is to appoint a Credit UK representative and trustee company of the Hacienda & Cabildo, Said Company being; The Bayliss Acs, 43, Ainsworth Court, Memorial Rd, Walkden, Manchester, M28 3AQ. Contact Nº: 0161 8501192.

They will pay the tax on behalf of the member and once the tax has been paid to The Bayliss Acs, monies will then be released through the HSBC holding account from Peters & Khan which can take up to 48 hours.

Please note that there are no court cases against the Holiday Club, no monies awarded by the Spanish Government, and certainly no outstanding tax bill due to be paid prior to receiving any monies.

One Response to Peters & Khan, the cold calling Acquisitions and Litigations PLC.

  1. Rita says:

Peters & Khan tried to scam me out of £2600 yesterday on the pretence that I had been awarded over £16000 through the Spanish Courts after the liquidation of various fraudulent holiday companies. However first of all I had to pay over an amount to pay for the services of someone called A L Patterson. Thankfully I had seen this website and was prepared for their phone call. You should perhaps be aware that I was initially contacted by an Edinburgh “firm of Solicitors” called Jackson &Ward to advise me of the good news. On doing some investigating I could not find such a company listed! They actually did me a favour because it alerted me to this scam.
