Newsletter February 2014 – Down the Fraud!

fraud1Dear All,

Yet again another busy month, with numerous new companies although a lot of “old tricks”.

We from Mindtimeshare will be staying firm though in our fight against fraud in this industry.

Our sole objective is that not a single owner of Timeshare in Europe is ever again cheated by these “cowboys”.

Our preventive work, the warnings about fraudulent companies on our blog, it all helps, but we see that it is not enough. So we want to go further.

We want ALL timeshare owners to be alert:

If you receive a cold call, notice an advert on the radio or in a magazine / newspaper, and the offer is related to timeshare and “sounds too good to be true” than please make sure you do the following:

– Research the Company.

– Never pay up front fees.

– Ask for all terms in writing

– Deal with a registered company only.

– CONSULT MINDTIMESHARE before taking a decision.

If all Timeshare owners would do this when they are approached by a company with offers related to their timeshare, WE WILL MAKE AN END TO FRAUD VERY QUICKLY!

Sounds easy? Well it is!

Thanks to all the Timeshare consumers who write to us each month, day in day out and tell us about the cold calls and offers they receive, we can warn others and prevent fraud to happen.

Thanks to all these consumers we can elaborate an updated cold caller list each month. A list that gives you a quick resume of all active companies at the moment. Always useful to keep close to the phone!  https://mindtimeshare.me/cold-caller-list/

A big thank you to all who keep us updated! Together we will DOWN THE FRAUD!
