A cold calling company by the name of Admin Assist Ltd. seems to be very busy this week.
Admin Assist Ltd. Contacts Timeshare and Holiday Ownership consumers who have been duped in the past by bogus resale companies and similar.
Admin Assist explains to the consumer that the company which duped them out of their money, has been taken to court and all their assets are frozen.
The consumer can now claim back the money he previously lost to this company.
In order to claim, the consumer has to register with UKASH and purchase several vouchers of £100 and £200. After purchasing these vouchers the consumer has to provide details of the vouchers to Admin Assist to demonstrate their ‘financial commitment’ to recovering their claim.
Once they have done this, a cheque from the bank is to be delivered by courier to the consumer’s house, and once this cheque is cleared, they can redeem the UKASH vouchers.
Did we not hear this before?
Well yes, we have several blog warnings about companies using a similar “Modus Operandi” and you can read these warnings on the following link: https://mindtimeshare.me/?s=UKASH
By research we know that Admin Assist Ltd is actually a registered company, but as we know from the previous cases, there might be an issue of mis use of a company name, and the person who cold calls certainly has nothing to do with the “real company”.
The supposed agent from Admin Assist Ltd. does not really provide more details than their phone number: 0843 289 6803 and the fact they are registered at the Companies House, and he invites the consumer to contact them to confirm this.
He also gives out a phone number 0203 289 3679 which supposedly is from UKASH where the consumer can verify the above story with a lady called Victoria Sinclair. Again if you do some research you will see that UKASH has not got a phone number like this and neither do they know this Victoria.
Those consumers who unfortunately bought the UKASH vouchers and provided Admin Assist with part of the codes of the vouchers, have not received any cheque of a claim and found out the UKASH vouchers were cashed in the same day.
