Filling in your personal details on ?

A new website has been detected for resale of Timeshares. The website is from a company called We Sell Any Timeshare

This website claims to have sold over 15.000 timeshares. That is a lot of timeshares and certainly taking into account the website was only registered on the 9th of February 2014.

Apart from this, the website lacks any company information, registration details or at least an address or a phone number.

So what happens when you fill in your personal details?

It seems that after submitting the contact form, the consumer is called back but by a different company. The company calling back is Resort Exchange Consultants.

As it happens we actually wrote an article about this company not so long ago and you can find this article on the following link:

As mentioned in the article about Resort Exchange Consultants, they claim not to do any cold calling, and obtain the details from associated companies. Supposedly the website We Sell Any Timeshare is what they class as an associate then.

Looks like is more used as an excuse of being able to say they don’t cold call.

Once they contact the Timeshare Owner, they also send off a “Guarantee Confirmation” which guarantees the resale of the timeshare in a period of 6 to 8 weeks.

But in order to go ahead with this sale, Resort Exchange Consultants requires a “Default Guarantee” payment which they assure will be refunded when the sale is completed.

This Default Guarantee Payment seems to be a fancy name for Upfront fee, which still is illegal as per the Timeshare Directive.

Please be careful when filling in your details on websites such as because you really do not know where these details will end up, and how many times they will be passed to other dubious companies over and over again.

If it sounds too good to be true, most probably it is!

Always double check who you are dealing with or who is cold calling you. You can always email us at or place a comment on this blog.

I would not go near this website with a very long stick! Any site such as this requesting personal details and other info is going to be dodgy to say the least. Who knows where your info will end up? If nothing else, you’ll be pestered with phone calls you don’t want! Leave well alone!
