Another article published today in the Express Online, highlights one more time the dubious business of Club Class Group of Companies.
The article written by Maisha Frost, with the title “Holiday club was a bad break” can be read in full on the following link: http://goo.gl/tUelJz
The article tells the story of a couple who bought into Club Class in the year 2009, and almost instantly knew they made a mistake by doing this. They even went back to the offices from Club Class, 24 hours after signing the agreement, but they were bluntly refused the cancellation. They again tried to cancel in writing but never heard anything back, until 2012 when the payments requests started to arrive for the annual membership fees.
We know that there are many consumers in this same position, who are currently receiving these payment requests and threatened with a debt collection agency appearing on their doorstep. Payment requests that are very distressing and a lot of people are even paying just for the sake of being left alone…not because they really owe this fee!
Reading these experiences from consumers, knowing they went through a pressure sales presentation, a deposit was taken on the day and now they are asked for payments that are not reflected in the agreement…one wonders what the authorities are doing about all this.
Why is no action taken? Why is Club Class Group of Companies getting away with this?
Why are Club Class and ITRA allowed to continue their dubious business in UK and Spain, where they offer their expensive “disposal services” to innocent Timeshare owners who came looking for a No Win No Fee claim?
It’s true they are no longer selling these Club Class memberships in Spain, but they are still active in Singapore and business has certainly not ceased!
And with their dubious practices, pressure sales, mis representation, deposit taking on the day, chasing up fees that are actually not due at all, disposal services that are not delivered…how on earth are they running a Class Action with ITRA & RCI Action Group against the Timeshare Industry?
Who are Club Class, ITRA or RCI Action Group to judge?
