Resorts Direct is not an unknown company to Mindtimeshare. In January 2012 we posted a warning about this company (link http://wp.me/p1kmoi-eE) and about their way of working.
Resorts Direct always seem to have an explanation about why they are calling the Timeshare owner. If in the past they liked using the names of reputable exchange companies such as RCI or II – Interval International, now they have slightly changed the pitch and tell the timeshare owner they are linked to their resort!
They claim to be running a promotion and offering holidays for £399 and this is done in conjunction with the Timeshare resort where the consumer has their ownership.
Well, the truth is, they are not doing this in conjunction with the resort and as a matter of fact the resort neither has provided them the personal details of the owner to Resorts Direct.
Looking at the website http://www.resortsdirect.co.uk/ we can see two addresses which we hadn’t seen before.
The Spanish address which is a post box: Resorts Direct, Apartado Correos 70, Alfaz Del Pi, 03580 Alicante, Spain
And the UK address: Resorts Direct UK Ltd, Suite 24 Saffron Court, Southfields Industrial Estate, Laindon, Essex,SS15 6SS, United Kingdom.

What we have more than clear on this company is the fact they belong to the Easy Consulting SL group of companies and this includes companies such as Direct Resort International, The Ultimate Holiday Package, The Gift Company, Anu Holidays, Extra Weeks, Easy Consulting, Easy Weeks Travel, Bonus Weeks Travel, Direct Resorts Promotions, and the The All Inclusive Club .
The fact is though that these people cold call with an explanation on where they obtained the timeshare owners details based on a lie.
So if you are called by Resorts Direct from 08717113545 who claims your resort is offering you a promotional holiday, then please think twice.

Dear Mindtimeshare,
The above company are still at it. Called on Weds 21st June 17 and told that my two extra weeks awarded by Marriott were running out that day, and my information had been passed to them by my resort as I had not used them.
They offered me not two weeks but three weeks anywhere in Europe to be taken anytime of the year for up to 5 years. In addition they were offering 6 free flights for two People for the same period of time. All for £199 per week £398 in total, third week was free.
They insisted they was in conjunction with Marriott. They said I had to decide by 3pm that day or the offer would be rescinded and lost, I told them I needed to find out more about them and they said they would ring me back just before the witching hour of three. Although two of their calls was number withheld a third call came up with a Spanish number. #34. 965 888 127.
They did not ring back before 3pm.
BUT today Thursday they rang three times to see if I had made a decision as I was out I said I was not available to discuss, they said they will ring tomorrow. After reading all the comments about these people. It’s going to be a very interesting call. First question ” if I had to act before 3 pm Weds Why is it still available Friday.” I intend to play them at their own game and have some fun.
This company are continuing to harass my elderly Mother. You might recall I mailed you with the above contacts after being verbally abused by a representative and then the so called company owner recently. They threatened to continue to call my Mother despite both her and myself telling them not to and this they do on a daily basis. They have taken a substantial amount of money when my Mum told them she was bereaved. They are extremely aggressive and when I challenged the “owner” he told me to go f*** myself!!!!!!
