Mindtimeshare would like to warn against Spanish based, Santiago y Miller – www.santiagoymiller.com – claiming to be able to provide legal advice, as a Law Firm, to victims of the cashback of Incentive Leisure Group (ILG). This “law firm” offers to their potential clients the “no win, no fee” service; and promise to get the money back of their cashbacks.
The address provided does not facilitate us with a precise location of such alleged law firm, i.e. C/Luis Montoro S/N, Sevilla; and the phone provided is in fact not a landline number but a mobile – 0034 604 168 092; something that it is quite strange, as any proper Spanish law firm would use as contact number a landline number and also fax number.
The domain name of this website was registered this last April 2014 (although the “alleged” Law Firm claims to have been active during the fifteen years!), and that we have not found any hard evidence that would indicate that Santiago y Miller is truly a Spanish Law Firm, with active solicitors registered with the Law Society of Sevilla, Southern Spain – i.e. Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Sevilla.
The registration number provided in the Terms and Conditions of Santiago y Miller – i.e. ACN 344 655 126 – means nothing in Spain, so be aware.
You should also wonder how this “alleged” Spanish Law Firm got hold of your contact details as a victim of ILG and its Cashback. Spanish Law Firms are not allowed to make cold calls anyway!
In conclusion, we truly urge caution in accepting any kind of legal advisory offer made by Santiago y Miller. It is likely that if you accepted their offer, you would be asked sooner of later for payments, despite their “no win no fee” claim offer – i.e. translation fees, legal fees, Spanish taxes, etc.
I have been approached by Santiago y Miller stating they can get a refund on our Holiday Club membership DWVC. Please let me know if this company is genuine. Thanks for your help. Regards G Simons
