The company Martin y Asociados is a fake cold calling lawyer’s office.
They initiated these calls some days ago, and they seem to have a lot of information at hand about previous frauds of which the consumer has fallen victim.
Martin y Asociados claim to be working on behalf of the Spanish government who seems to have blocked an amount of money to be paid out to victims of Cash Back and Reclaim.
Martin y Asociados are in a position to claim part of this money through the Court of Justice, on behalf of the consumer.
If the money is awarded to the consumer, they would have to pay a 10% court and administration fee on the awarded amount, but only once the written Court sentence was in their hands, so a supposed claim on a “no win, no fee” basis.”
But Reading through the lines, the consumer is made aware that he will have to pay this 10% as soon as the “court sentence” arrives, not when he has the money in his account! Soon after agreeing with Martin y Asociados that they can do the claim on the consumer behalf, they produce the necessary “Court Sentence” and ask for the money to be paid by bank transfer.
Checking up on Martin y Asociados we had a look at their website www.martinasociados.eu it becomes clear that there is a lot of “company” information missing, such as registration at the Spanish Companies House, or the details of the lawyers associated to Martin y Asociados. Parts of the website are even still “under construction”.
