Lately we have seen a lot of new companies appearing in the Canary islands, and one of them is the recently created Gold Crown Services.
The company Gold Crown Services was registered at the in May 2014 at the Spanish Companies House.
They don’t seem to have a website (yet) but they do have an email address firstname.lastname@example.org

The story with Gold Crown Services is that they present themselves as a Claims Company. A claims company who cold calls Timeshare and Holiday Club members and offers them with assistance with a Consumer Act claim.
Once they make the first contact they send all kind of paperwork to the consumer in order to sign these and start claiming.
In the paperwork though, it becomes soon very clear that Gold Crown Services expects the consumer to pay several hundreds of pounds in order to initiate the claim.
It is not only the cold call and the upfront fee that creates the worry, but also the fact that they are offering claims to people who actually purchased over a decade ago. As far as we understand the Consumer Act is for those payments made less than 6 years ago, counting from the day of the financial transaction and by credit card.
As this company is very recent, we suppose that it is almost impossible to have “successful” claims as yet. But if you have any feedback on the company then please feel free to share this with us.
